Exactly. If you knew bad news was to follow, how could you even begin to enjoy the good news? The whole time, you have to be thinking "Whats the bad news".Wouldn't be able to savor the good news first with the bad news hanging over my head. Just give the bad news so I can figure out how to deal with it and then get a burst of light with the following good news.

Many times people will end with good news that isn't really that good. Most news is bad news for most folks.
