Gore, LJ & Romo (1 Viewer)

Lot of differing opinions on these three guys. What is yours? Gore anywhere from he is only a product of Turner's system and will not be a top 10 RB this year to the closest thing to LT. I like him as a top 5 back. LJ is ranked anywhere from 2 to 4. Injury and the offensive line is the concern. I would rank him 3. Romo is either a top 15 QB or a second coming and a top 5 QB. He has to prove his worth to me this year.

Gore -Should be a top 5-8 back worst case (barring injury). N. Turner helped him as well as A. Smith alot, but Gore is still the focal point of that offense and the head coach has not changed. They will use him this year just like they did last year.

LJ - definite top 3 back again this year. He is a workhorse back that finds the endzone. People are concerned about his carries and they should be for the future, but not next year. he is still young and can handle the load. 3-4 years form now, those carries will start to catch up to him if he continues on the same pace though.

T. Romo - I am not sold on Romo. He showed some flashes of brilliance last year, but he also showed some knucklehead moves. I think he will be a solid fantasy QB, though, but no way do I see him top 5. I think 10-15 is a good bet for him.

Gore drops some, but remains top 10 if healthy

LJ is my #3, but I wouldn't be surprised if Portis, Bush, Alexander, and Westbrook all outperform him this year. By August, Portis may be ahead of LJ in my rankings.

Romo - I'm not a big fan either, but I might pair him with someone in a QBBC. I just don't know about TO and how Wade Phillips impacts the offense.

I just don't understand all the Romo haters in the shark pool. Perhaps its because of his low ytd ppg average. That number is skewed because of him playing in every game last year... as the holder. He played QB for the end of the 4th quarter in week 6 and the second half in week 7. From thereout he started the remaining 10 games. So 218.6 ffp divided by 10.75 games gives you a weekly average of 20.33 pts That finishes third in ppg average. I have him currently ranked as QB#9 for dynasty purposes and think he should out preform that slot. I just have a hard time moving him up further. He clearly has a very high ceiling that I think people are sleeping on.

Portis ahead of LJ? really? bold prediction. he won't even be ready for opening day of training camp, from reports about his shoulder surgery. Not too mention, he's embroiled in what looks to be a big time RBBC situation. I hope you're right, I have Portis, I think the world of him as a RB, but I'm not sold yet on a RB with a surgically repaired shoulder , not someone like Portis who loves to hit defenders and use his shoulders to do so. He runs very hard, and you love to see that.but, it could lead to troubles with a bad shoulder. LJ's carries will go down, but his ypc avg should go up. Huard ,at this point, is much better than Trent Green. 60% comp , 11 td-1int last season was really good for a guy coming off the bench.I think he opens this offense up a bit..

I'm sold on all 3. I'm sold on Gore and LJ for the obvious reasons. As far as Romo, I like to look at a QB's YPA and completion % to gage his success and understanding of a league. And, Romo's YPA and completion % were both impressive.
