Graham Contingency Committee (1 Viewer)

I own Graham in 3 out of 4 leagues- his injury hit my teams pretty hard as I wasn't holding a backup TE on any of them. Let's talk about potential options.

1. Jace Amaro- Not many targets in the offense for Geno to go to. Patriots gave up over 100 yards to Scott Chandler and lost Mayo. Plays Buffalo and KC next, both have been average this year vs. the TE. The downside? He plays on Thursday night and there's the outside chance that Graham plays this week.

2. Charles Clay- Hasn't looked good this season, but maybe next week is the one he finally gets past that nagging knee.

3. Jared Cook- Plays Seattle next week, but their defense is pretty dinged up. He's shown decent chemistry with Austin Davis too.

4. Zach Miller- Good chance that he was dropped following his injury. He's supposed to be back this week, but could have a limited snap count.

How are you replacing graham?

Goong with Amaro 1st, harbor second or maybe just stick wih Heath. If there is even a sliver of hope graham plays im not starting amaro.

Picked up Ebron. I have both Megatron and Graham down so "F" it. Can't get any worse.

Traded Gio for Graham the week he got hurt. Thought I was SET.

Ah well...Guess this one of those years The Gods of Fantasy shall sup upon my ###.

I lucked out. The Reed owner got pissed off with his immediate injury in week one and dumped him. Was able to grab him off WW last week to cover Graham's bye.

If he goes down again I'd probably turn to Dwayne Allen. I own Bradshaw so it would be nice to lock up a bigger piece of the Colts red zone targets of which the pair take up a healthy dose.

I'm going with cook. He gets tons of targets
cook is 6th in the nfl for TE's in targets and he is averaging almost 9 a game.... if he starts scoring TD's to go with his respectable yardage totals you have a mid tier te1. But it hasnt happened yet (he did have a terrible TD drop a couple weeks ago)

Picked up Cook to cover Graham's bye last weekend. I'm sticking with him this week too....
Grabbed Cook myself this week off the wire. Amongst all receivers he's tied for somewhere in the low 40's overall in targets, bye included, through Week 6. I'll take the volume play angle to continue vs. someone else less targeted actually getting more volume. Rams playing the Seahawks, if behind could be a glut of opportunity for Cook.

Both play at 1, so if Graham is active, I'll probably start him but not feel great about it. Practice the next few days (hopefully) tells us alot.
