Grandson of Survivor II (1 Viewer)

To have 160+ and finish third is a sick week for a lot of our teams.
I was going to comment on that earlier. Obviously some good drafting when scores are this high. I was going to make some comparision to the Survivor2 leagues, but they aren't apples to apples. Regardless, the teams as a whole are well balance.

bump-a-diddley-doo-dongI'm currently at 172.1 with the ability to increase that with Rod Smith, Larry Johnson and Tynes going tonight. Will I score 160+ on consecutive weeks and STILL not receive immunity? Certainly within the realm of possibilities.

I topped off at 181.8 If I don't have immunity next week, I'm going to puke. :X :yucky:

looks like Gatorman may have barely beaten you with 184.02 points to your 181.8 points. He had both Tomlinson and Westbrook.I think purplehaze might be low score with 100.08

We DID change the rules to allow immunity in consecutive weeks, correct? We SHOULD have - which is a bummer for me - but I'd still like a clarification as I know consecutive immunity was no-go under the original FBGuy rules.

Sorry purple - crazy that we have had so many high scores.

I thought we changed that rule last year, but don't remember for certain.

as the one most affected by it this week, I am OK with Gator getting consecutive immunity - you get top score, you deserve it.

I think we discussed it and never got a consensus from people on whether we wanted to change it or stick with how it was in the FBG-run league.Since it still hasn't come up yet since we took over running it ourselves, we should probably decide definitively either way.

Explanation for MT and David... in the Survivor II that started this group up drafting against each other, I had high score two weeks in a row, but when you had immunity Dodds didn't calculate your score the next week, so I only received immunity for the first high score. So this is about whether to do it that way again, no immunity two weeks in a row, or whether you can get immunity any time you had a high score in the first 5 weeks, regardless of whether you had it already.

And :banned: to Haze. I told you that selling your soul was going to be the ruin of your fantasy football ever after. ;)

I reiterate my earlier commetn - I am OK with Gator man getting immunity in consecutive weeks (and I thought we had decided this last year as I seem to recall someone - maybe me - getting immunity two weeks in a row last year)

although I may be remembering getting immunity the last week it was available and then getting the most points the following week, and the issue coming up but not being decided since it wasn't relevant anymore.

Gatorman was high scorer in week 1 and LHUCKS was the high scorer in week 2.

Looks like you're right about last year, Marc. You had high score weeks 4 and 5 last year, and had the week 6 amnesty. So I guess we must have resolved it then.

My limping team may be the one gone this week - pending Delhomme tomorrow night puttingv up something huge, I am hovering around the 130 mark, which is probably a goner for me.I have Eric Johnosn and David Akers, so I am pretty much hurting over the next few weekls anyway with my only healthy K and TE going on bye soon-ish.My only hope is to make it to the double week elimination, but it'll be tough to survive for me this week.

Instead of having twice as many players as I need at each position, I have exactly the number of starters I need each week. Not good.

You know you're having a horrible week when your kicker outscores your 3 highest scoring WRs combined by 10. I'm at 127.5 + (S. Davis/N. Davenport - 9.8) + (Longwell - 27)

Hmmm, a decent night out of Delhomme and I actually do have a chance to survive
Someone has already posted a final total lower than yours this week. You CAN'T be booted this week. What is the elimination schedule for this league? After this week, do we switch to two week totals?

Me too - the only time he ever seems to post in the Shark Pool anymore is in this thread.I'm dead soon regardless - Akers and Eric Johnson will kill me.

Probably not before Cundiff and Javon Walker get me.
Cundiff - outch.Walker you can (or should be able to) overcome.

Losing one starting K and one starting TE before the other starting K/TE bye weeks is death. That's my sitch unless Akers pops back up.

:pickle: And FWIW I do still post in here. I post here all the time. It is just that there is so much noise in the shark pool that my messages are drowned out.

I hope you all realize that LHUCKS has managed to walk away from almost certain dealth by winning immunity this past week. This upcoming weekend, he would have been . . .- Starting ZERO QBs with Green on bye and Pennington DOA.- Without the services of Barber, Burress, Kennison, and Gonzalez due to byes.So instead of geting a 0 at QB, and having to rely on Marion Barber, Barlow, and a banged up Cadillac at RB, he gets a free pass.Consider this my swan song, as I am DOOMED with LHUCKS advancing. I am out Mewelde Moore, Lamont Jordan, and Randy Moss all on bye with Charles Rogers on his way to rehab.

Funny if it actually comes down to immunity winners getting saved two weeks in a row

With my timely immunity, team LHUCKS should make a strong push for the remainder of the season...damn those WRs are deep :D Please don't get injured Trent Green.

If I get the boot this week and low man would have been LHUCKS, I think I'll give LHUCKS a banning for a while. Not that it's merited mind you, but only because I can.:powerhungrymods: :hot:

Actually, having 6 WR that have outscored Reggie Wayne is reason enough to get banned. That's 6 of the Top 21 WR to date. I may not even wait untll next week.
