Don't use this board as the basis for noting worst fan bases.
I haven't had exposure to every single fan base but from personal experience some of the best and worst.
BEST fan bases from my personal experience and its not even close:
ARIZONA CARDINALS
From my personal experiences, simply the best. Passionate, knowledgeable, super nice, really great fans.
WORST from my personal experience and it is close:
New York Jets
Again, has nothing to do with fans here in the Shark Pool but from years of being an NFL fan. I've never come across a worse fan base. I have nothing against the Jets at all but my gosh some of the fans are so awful that its sad.
Runner-up for the WOST fan base is easily the Cleveland Browns. I'm a die hard Browns fan and it pains me to say it but, man. The worst of the Browns fans are horrible. Again, nothing to do with people here in the Shark Pool, its from years and years of hanging with them and not being able to say that since I'm a Browns fan that they are great, nope the worst of them are really bad.
Other ones that stand out.
Patriots fans are very knowledgeable but cocky, smug. They are not the worst. Dallas fans can be obnoxious but they are fun. When I lived in Washington state Seahawk fans were some of the smartest, check that they WERE the smartest I had come across. Bronco fans, not very football savvy but passionate and fairly obnoxious. New York Giant fans, great, fun, smart, cool people. Detroit Lion fans, beat down, I mean I'm a Browns fan but Lion fans are depressing how beat down they are but I love those people, good folk. Raider fans are also great. Saint fans, smart but mean lol. Niner fans, not all that football smart but some very lovely lady fans, smile. I can't say anything about Steeler fans because their isn't any consensus, some really bad and good ones. Washington fans that I've known, very smart but complainers. Oh and Viking fans are some of the best, definitely second best from what I've experienced.
Haven't had enough experience from other fan bases to have takes on them but this is my personal experience.
