While I'm a big Aikman fan and think he's a H-oFer this is no contest. Staubach was simply an incredible QB with sick athletic skills. It's amazing to think what he could have accomplished if he didn't have his hitch in the Navy.

How does that work? Walsh was taken in the supplemental draft in '89. What am I missing here? The Cowboys would've needed a #1 to get him in '90.

That was the #1 they gave up. They would have had the #1 overall pick in 1990 had they not taken Walsh in the 1989 Supplemental. They probably would have used that pick to take Blair Thomas.

Aikman was technically the best, but Staubach was my favorite and Staubach is the obne I would pick to be my starting qb.

Danny likely would've had success similar to Troy had he been there in the early 90's. I'm a huge fan of both, so that's not a knock on Troy. Danny dealt with an extremely tough NFC East year in and year out.

He should be on the list, but Roger is the best.
