Green Bay at Chicago (1 Viewer)

If it broke the plane, it was by a centimeter. Tough break for Chicago, but ball should have never been thrown short of the goal line- they don't deserve the TD

Ha Ha is getting the last laugh there. Dude can play too.

Hawk is dominating the LB corp... just like he has for the Packers his whole career.

This isn't the first time a play like this has happened...are these multi-billion dollar broadcast corporations too stupid...or too cheap to have 4 cameras per goal line? A low and a high angle camera on each sideline each goalline. I don't understand.

Maybe that last play will finally get the NFL to wake up and do what many of us have been saying for years.. In this day and age of technology there is absolutely no reason NOT to have a camera on both sidelines of the end zone..

Also, the NFL should be on the phone right now looking for replacement Refs for the rest of the game.. 4 Absolutely crappy calls in this game that the old replacement Refs would have done better with..

They apparently don't care.

No accountability. They don't care.

W.R.'s wrists were at the goal line, but did not break the plane. There is no visual evidence at the crucial moment that his hands did not leave his wrists, but presuming they did not they must have been across the goal line. Visual evidence a half a second before and after the key moment does show his hands attached to his wrists.

you guys remember the replacement officials?

ppl were actually calling for these crews to come back. huh, go figure.

1 right call (shouldn't have been "piling on" but he dropped his helmet to drive to a guy going down)...terrible call on the hit on Nelson
But he didn't even hit him with his helmet.
Defender drops his helmet going into a guy they will throw the flag every single time.
Exactly. The stumps that argue these calls think the refs have a slow mo camera in their pockets and don't really understand the speed of the game.

Have you been watching this game and if so, do you really think they could be any worse today

These guys are calling phantom hands to the face, phantom " hit to the head", a "piling on" crap call ( maybe spearing, but that isn't what was called),, Junk calls, no matter by "pro" refs or Replacement refs are still junk calls.

Not watching game but saw that there was a call reviewed that may have not gone the Bears way but there may have been time to kick a field goal?

I think that's a TD, but do they have a better angle not blocked by a DB?
If there was no bobble, maybe, but there was no view showing he got it over with possession.
:goodposting: It certainly appeared he broke the plane.. But he did bobble it and the key word is "certainly" due to bad camera angles.. I do think had they called it a TD on the field it would have stood also.. It came down to what was called on the field..

Indeed

Game over.

Can't beat the refs and the team playing

See you Thursday

No.. Clock ran out as they had no timeouts left. Agreed with many above, bad play call NOT to throw into the end zone so as not to have that happen

I was saynig ppl wanted the "real" refs back but the "real" refs are no better than the replacements were. I am agreeing with you

The NFL should have computer chips in the ball, man. And, computer force fields at each goal line, man. If the ball crosses the line... fireworks go off, man. BOOM!
