Green Bay RB mess (1 Viewer)

I know it is still early, but the Green Bay RB situation could get interesting. I have seen a lot of Gado love recently, especially with Ahman looking gimpy. But as this article points out, Ahman is ahead of schedule: link

And this article talks about Gado catching on slowly:

So if you are doing an early draft, who do you take a chance on?

I think you take all the "news" out of camp lightly. Of course everyone in the Packers org is going to say Green is ahead of shedule. Just like CPalmer, JWalker, BEdwards ect. As for Gado, he is what he is. A raw talent that needs work. And guess what. Since he is the only healthy RB, he is getting plenty of reps. The coaching staff is going to be extra hard on him to see if he can develop. The dude split time at Liberty College for christ sake. I'm sure this new staff knows he has some issues. However, he has shown that once he gets the ball in his hands (and he does not fumble), good thing happen. Will Gado be the opening day starting RB in GB? Probably not. But I would say that he has a high probability of starting some games. And that has value.
