Greg Jennings (1 Viewer)

Just curious to see where Greg Jennings is going in recent dynasty rookie drafts? Has he officially become the #1 wr off the board in most leagues?

I took him at 1.11 as the first WR in the rookie draft. I think he's going to easily be the best WR to come from the draft with both his results from the this year and going forward.

Hometown Biased Alert.
I guess you haven't read any of the updates on how Jennings has progressed thus far.

2.03 in June. I don't think he has really moved up that much. Still in the WR2-3 range like he was then. I'm curious if Hagan is going sooner lately. I've never been too high on Booker and Hagan went at 3.02 in that draft (WR6). I'm liking him more than Moss and Marshall for putting up eqaul numbers sooner.

got him at 2.06 (18th overall) just a few days ago. owners at the next two draft spots were definitely going to take him by 20th. he went after jackson, moss, and holmes.

He and Chad Jackson have the best opportunities, with no clear cut number two and jackson's been hurt. Holmes has problems and Moss won't be a starter. Jennings is the most pro-like of all of them. Not fast but good at everthing.Donald Driver light imo.

I'm sure he'll be given a chance to shine this season. I was just being sarcastic because of nathanbalboa's avatar.

Hank Baskett (Eagles) seems to be in the mix of getting a lot of playing time this season.

Another opportunity to start. Philly, GB and NE all have a potential opening for thir #2 WR. Caldwell seems to be doing well in New England though.

2.10 in a 12-team rookie/vet draft that's in the 4th round right now.

WRs off the board like this so far:

1.05 Las Vegas (from STL) - Chad Jackson WR New England

2.05 St. Louis - Santonio Holmes WR Pittsburgh

2.10 Chicago - Greg Jennings WR Green Bay

2.12 Houston - Sinorice Moss WR New York Giants

3.09 Detroit (from LV) - Brandon Marshall WR Denver

3.10 Chicago - Derek Hagan WR Miami

3.11 Baltimore - Demetrius Williams WR Baltimore

3.12 Houston - Brad Smith WR New York Jets

4.05 Las Vegas (from STL) - Travis Taylor WR Minnesota

I grabbed him at 3.10 in our 5 round dynasty rookie draft last month. Considering my past success in drafting WRs (Koren Robinson, Troy Williamson, Doug Gabriel) hopefully this one will actually reap rewards sooner than later.

Greg Jennings received an unsolicited endorsement from quarterback Brett Favre at the outset of training camp, and the rookie receiver has done little to diminish the respect he's gained from Favre and others.

Jennings contends that he's not consumed by winning the vacant starting job opposite Driver, but he appreciates the notice given him by Favre and Rodgers.

—Rookie Greg Jennings continues to dazzle and might have the inside track at No. 2 receiver. Jennings unofficially had four receptions for 131 yards against the Falcons, highlighted by an 85-yard catch-and-run touchdown on a tipped pass from Aaron Rodgers late in the game. Robert Ferguson started opposite Donald Driver but wasn't much of a factor with only two catches for 21 yards. Fellow veteran Rod Gardner didn't have a catch. :banned:

1:12 second wr behind C. Jackson

Another at

2:02 Third behind C. Jackson and S. Holmes

Another at

2:05 after Holmes, Moss and Jackson

Bump an old thread just to see how things have changed over the past couple weeks.

In terms of dynasty, it seems to me that the biggest concern with Greg Jennings has nothing to do with Greg Jennings, but more to do with Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers seemed to have a good start in preseason and is clearly ahead of where he was a year ago, but he really tailed off towards the end. In Rodgers' defense, there's a HUGE dropoff in terms of working with the Packers starters and working with the backups. At least that's my take from a distance. Any Packer homers care to chime in on the progress of Rodgers and how it might affect Jennings in the coming years?

He will be by far the most productive receiver of this draft .

Chad Jackson is worthless while Moss is injured and Holmes will end up in jail one of those days .
