From USA Today:

Greg Jennings - WR - Packers

Greg Jennings (questionable) reportedly has some lingering soreness in his injured ankle that has again put his status for Week 9 in doubt.

The rookie wideout will be a game-time decision against the Bills after tweaking his ankle again late in the week. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Jennings looked "tentative" in practice Friday. Jennings now looks like someone to keep on fantasy benches in Week 9. Nov. 4 - 11:32 a.m. ET

Crap that leaves me with Chambers....Hes done me no favors this season...

Jennings is a good receiver, but I'm leaving him on my bench regardless if he gets the start. Can't afford him getting yanked if this flares up. Hope they rest him so he can be 100% next week.

My Saturday Milw. Journal-Sentinel said he's likely to return this week. He's doing much better off the jam etc. That's what held him out against ARZ.

2 cents.

Me too...& I wish they'd sit him this week. No way I'm gonna start a WR w/ a bad ankle, whether he practiced or not, his first game back, and when his status (as worthless as those tags are) hasn't been upgraded from questionable. I have to roll the dice w/ Chambers & hope to hell he gets some garbage-time stats...

I agree. His game relies on flying through breaks. He needs healthy ankles to be effective. If he does start he will probbaly be a decoy. They have several TE's that can serve as WR's.

I wish GB would make him inactive. I need the guy healthy and if he is limited he should rest this week.

if i can't start jennings i have to sub in -- ugh -- lelie. :(at least ATL plays DET.
I'm in the same boat, and I have my son's birthday party at 11:00 which means I won't get back in time to make last minute changes based on updates. I have to decide by 10:30, which sucks! At the moment I'm putting in Lelie to play it safe, especially since I already have Favre and Green going for Green Bay. Might as well spread it out with Jennings a little iffy.

I've got Jennings in my lineup in 2 leagues. I need him or it' Chris Perry or LenDale White. :bag: Anyone have Ed Werder's phone number? :D

I'm not playing Jennings, as I feeling his is too risky today. However, I do feel that this needs to be pinned.

Packers :: WR

WR Jennings Practiced, Expects To Go

Bob McGinn, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - [Full Article]

WR Greg Jennings (knee) practiced for the second straight day and expects to return. "I think I'll be able to go," Jennings said. "I've been getting off the jam, which was the biggest issue going into the Arizona game. Every day I run on it, I'm sore. But that's to be expected. There's nobody in this league that's playing that's 100%. It's something I'm going to have to play with for the rest of the season."

Foe me its an injured Greg Jennings or an unbelievabley dissapointing Chris Chambers....Hmmmmmmm...think I go with the hurt guy

This is from Packer's coach Mike McCarthy's press conference on Friday evening:

(How did Jennings progress this week?)

He's practiced twice. He's put his foot down, and I know he was sore today. I am curious to get in there and see how he came out of today's practice. We're hopeful he'll go.

(And Cullen Jenkins, how'd he look?)

He's feeling better. He made a lot of progress this week, so I'd say it's safe to say he'll go.

Thought you all might like to know. If you want to read the entire press conference go to this site:

I would go with Chambers. Bears D is good but the #1 WRs have dnne well against us.
Great ...Now I have to rethink it...
Chambers is a #1 WR?? Dude has been worthless; & I have no choice but to start him as I just can't go w/ Jennings given that ankle...I've always (over 12 years of FF) avoided starting guys their first game after an injury that caused them to miss time, especially when it's an ankle.

Don't mean to hikack, but the Bears LOVE Joey Harrington. LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Just saw a clip on ESPN of joey standing next to Urlacher, both warming up before the game without pads. He looked like baby LeBron. Tiny. Sit Chambers. I am. I have Galloway to fall back on and hope Jennings will be back next week.

Well Crap.....Chambers it is...

Starting Henry over Jennings.

I also have Housh going, so obviously I'm hoping for a big day from the Cinci passing attack. I don't like having to start 2 WRs from the same team (not named Wayne and Harrison that is) but with Jennings dinged and the Crotch on bye, I'm sorta stuck.

BTW, I think I'd start Chambers over Jennings. I have no faith that Jennings will be used enough to make the start worthwhile.

With Smitty and Donte on bye I have a choice between Jennings, Michael Clayton :X and Kevin Curtis :yucky: . Curtis could put up 80 and 1 any given week, but usually he won't. I'm sticking with Jennings, who my gut tells me will finish with one catch for 17 yards. But my brain overrides gut yet again.

Gonna go with Jennings....Chambers is another disappointment just waiting to happen..again...And Chambers against the Bears...UGGG......Jennings just feels better..Of course if this season holds to form whichever I don't start will have the better day...

Jennings is set to start per Fanball.

I'm rolling the dice on him too. At least it is very cold (hey, I'm from the dirty south) in BUF, so should num the pain on ankle.
