Greg Jennings (2 Viewers)

Welcome back to bust status, Jennings. The guy just cannot get open. I hope most of you had more foresight than I and benches him.

Seems Rogers has the man love for Driver. Now that Driver has hit his milestone stat., maybe Jennings will start getting his.

Started him today over more deserving options based pretty much solely on the matchup. I won't be making that mistake again. He'll be glued to my bench for the foreseeable future.

This is ridiculous. For the record, Jennings is on pace for 1060/4.35 TDs. Slightly better numbers than Driver put up last year (1012/5). Driver is on pace for 1220/7.25. Slightly worse numbers than Jennings last year (1292/9).

Teams have rolled their coverage away from Driver to Jennings. It appears they will end up reversing yearly outputs this year due to that. It is amazing the perception here of the difference however. You are looking at year end totals differing by 160 yards and 3 TDs.

And it's utter crap. 160 yards and, say, 15 receptions (+ 3 TDs) is a total of 44.5 points. That's HUGE. Spread that over 10 weeks and that's 4.45 points per week. Big difference between 7 and 11 points. Or, that could be 3 additional blow up weeks. As it stands, he's only had 3 strong weeks all season. 5 out of 10 weeks, he KILLED your lineup as a WR2. This guy is a BUST. The worst is that watching the games (I've seen several), Rodgers really doesn't look his way very often at all. Either Rodgers or the offensive coordinator has changed their approach. Regardless, they'd ruined Jennings in fantasy.

The targets mean nothing. If you watched the game you would understand most his targets came from throw away passes after Rodgers looked at 3 other players first. Jermichael Finley is more involved in the offense than Jennings. So sad.

Look, as a Packer fan, and a Jennings owner, I am disappointed in what he's producing so far this season. But the reality is he's on pace to finish as a solid #2 WR in 12 team leagues. Year in and year out, 18-20ish guys get 1000 yards +. It looks like Jennings will be one of them. So in a year where he's got a bad oline ruining his deeper routes, and seeing extended double coverage for the first time, I won't call out his talent on a finish that most likely lands him in the top 20. If you drafted him in a redraft as your #1, I can see the disappointment. As a dynasty owner, I just see this as a down year in an otherwise very productive career. After his rookie year, when healthy, he's produced as a top 5 guy. There is more of that in his future.

It seems like Jennings has lost half a step of his burst. Driver's game was never dependent upon speed.
I don't see any change in his physical skills or his ability to get open.I see a change in OC and QB utilization. The gameplan in 09 seems to leave Jennings as the #3 read most of the time which is definitely a change from last season.Agree with the above poster that this is simply a down season in what will be a very productive career.

For what little it's worth, it looked to me and has looked in the past, as if teams are really worried about where he is. I thought it was telling on Driver's short TD how the CB that was head up on Driver was leaning toward Jennings on the play helping out. Driver was wide open because of it.

Jennings is busting as a #1 this year for sure. I'll keep him in as my #3 though. He's still very worthy of that in my league.

He'll probably be a real value in drafts next year.

Exactly. They probably blew the coverage, but Jennings was doubled and Driver was uncovered.
