Greg Little (1 Viewer)

Would you start Heyward-Bay over Little/Nelson this weekend? He's out there on my wavier and I am actually thinking about grabbing him to start.
I'm going to leave Nelson in my lineup this week. I'd probably say go with Heyward-Bey if you're the underdog and need a huge game. Little would probably be safer to get you 10 points if you just need a steady game...Heyward-Bey disappears sometimes, though I haven't watched the last 2 Raiders games yet...maybe you should look through the forums to see what some people are saying about him. Also, keep an eye on Joe Haden. I think he's injured...if he doesn't play it's a significant boost to Heyward-Bey.
Thanks

I drafted little as my 2nd pick of the first round in my dynasty leagues rookie draft this year, after green and Julio jones were off the board. I felt that little represented equal talent to both of them at a bargain price due to not as long of a resume and his suspension from NCAA.

I am buying little moving greats and also loved him up in all my redraftts as well.

Talented kid, up and coming qb, west coast offense, will get more opportunities to make plays, and Cleveland coming off bye week here they get to spend some time adjusting and refocusing their game plan moving forward. His coaches love him. His teammates live him. He will have every opportunity to shine, providing that McCoy can get him the ball in space.

I think you will see his YAC increase dramatically the more they focus on getting him involved as a primary weapon. That's his specialty.

Watched every snap of Browns games this year, and I agree with everything in this article. Little fans be wary of him this year with McCoy under center.http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/10/14/fantasy-mccoy’s-tendencies-a-key-to-little’s-success/
That's some good stuff.

that article is discouraging, but with the bye there has been extra time to incorporate the lwr, and cmon, it was robiskie. i still dont see much difference between little, nelson, denarius and the rest of the ww fodder.

Here is part of a question and answer today with Shurmur:

(On if Greg Little could also help the running game with his blocking)- “He is a big physical guy and he’s one of those young guys where he’s excited to play whether we’re throwing it or running it. I’m looking for him to be a physical presence out there.”

(On if Little’s run blocking factored into the decision to start him)- “You look at everything, but typically for a receivers first and foremost, you’re looking for production. Then you’re looking at guys that will do everything in terms of blocking and he’s done a nice job with that. That had something to do with it.”
