Gentlemen,For the first time ever, Gridiron Leagues will be offering a $5 dues credit applied to any league in the Gridiron Realm (Gridiron Gods, GFAC, Gridiron Relegation, Hometown Heroes, or the Chosen Ones) For any owner who is approved as a franchise owner, and referred by an existing owner. In the sake of fairness, this will also apply for any current owner who "refers" himself into an additional league, since technically that is still filling a new franchise with an owner whom you've talked into joining lol.So, if any of you would like to refer owners, or join our other leagues, you must have them mention that you referred them before we have them in place as owners! This headhunting bounty will begin today 2/26 and will not be applied retroactively to any owners who joined prior to 2/26/16.
All Leagues are $35 a season and we ask a 2 year commitment to start.We currently have 6 vacancies in GFAC (our Auction Contract League) that are inherited as is, with the exception of 2 amnesty contracts ( owners may drop up to 2 players without the standard early release penalty being assessed). And, the new owners will get to partake in an Expansion style draft where the other 25 existing owners will have to make 6 players available to be drafted. We have 2 player copies, IDP weighted scoring, PPR, Functional Practice Squads, with a twist.- The Twist is that each franchise will select an NFL franchise to be tied to. Each franchise will then select 1 player from that NFL franchise to be their "Hometown Hero" prior to the startup draft. The Hometown Hero may be swapped out no more than once every 3 seasons, but can be done by trading or releasing the current Hometown Hero, and claiming a new hero from any incoming rookie drafted by that NFL franchise. Once claimed, the team must then surrender a future draft pick equal to one round below the round where the 2nd copy of the player is drafted in our annual rookie draft. For Example, If the team linked to the Cleveland Browns selects Johnny Manziel as their Hometown Hero, they may opt at any time to replace Manziel with an incoming Browns Rookie. If that rookie is then drafted in Round 1 by another league member, they would be required to surrender a future year 2nd rd pick. They must then wait at least 3 seasons before they can swap out that Hometown Hero again. That means, this player would not be traceable, or droppable for 3 seasons, as each franchise must always have a Hometown Hero rostered.IF you would like to recruit for The Chosen Ones: http://www22.myfantasyleague.com/2015/home/15013#0This league is a 32 team Dynasty league with duplicate copy players, IDP weighted scoring, PPR and a functional Practice Squad, with a different twist.- This league will feature a Raid at seasons end. The raid is essentially a 6 round draft where each team will steal players from other rosters. Each owner can protect 1 player from every position, plus 1 additional player from any 1 position. Then, the raid begins. Each time a team loses a player, they can protect a player. No team will lose more than 6 players, and all teams will lose and gain 6 players. So, once a team has lost their 6 players, no further raiding can occur from their roster, but they still continue to raid other teams until they have acquired 6 players.Any owner referring another owner, or taking on another team will receive a $5 credit towards their dues, paid for by the commissioner as a thank you for helping in this recruitment season. I appreciate any and all help, and want owners to have a good time playing in our leagues, so if you have friends, foes, or any active, competitive owner you think will improve the quality of our leagues, send them our way!!!
