Bucs coach Jon Gruden acknowledged that he is concerned about Joey Galloway's (foot sprain) status for Week 3.Galloway caught just two balls for 18 yards before exiting Sunday's win against Atlanta. The 37-year-old couldn't recover quickly from a groin injury this summer and Galloway's status is in doubt for Week 3 at Chicago. Sep. 14 - 11:42 pm etSource: St. Petersburg Times
I did some research on foot sprains for athletes, and here are the typical recovery times. Based on this and considering Galloways age and time it took to hear from his groin injury, I think Antonio Bryant is a MUST pickup as he will be the Bucs #1 WR:
Average healing times are:Mild sprains--2 to 6 weeks. Moderate sprains--6 to 8 weeks. Severe sprains--8 to 10 weeks.

Why is Antonio Bryant (he of 0 catches this week vs. a suspect ATL 2ndary) a must pick up?

Last time Galloway was injured for long period of time: Dare I say, a Michael Clayton renaissance?

Of course he hurt his foot. I picked up Griese as a desperation play this weekend because of Hasselbeck's terrible reciver situation.

Joey Galloway (foot sprain) was on crutches at One Buc Place Monday morning.

"At this point, there is some concern," coach Jon Gruden reiterated. "After we get the doctor's report, we'll let you know." If Galloway is out for Week 3 at Chicago, Antonio Bryant and Ike Hilliard would likely be the Bucs' starters.

I expect Galloway to be out for a while, so I see some good value here.Who do you see as the guy to pickup here, Bryant or Hilliard? Who will be running Galloway's routes while he's out?

Bryant got targets 7 or so targets from Garcia in wk1, but Griese didnt even see him this week. (1 or 2 targets I forget which). That being said if I already picked up Bryant in a deeper league and i'll wait 1 more week of Griese without Galloway to see if he gets some looks. Not many better upsides in my 16tm start 3WR 1W/R 1W/T flex options out there..
