Gun that killed 3-year-old... (2 Viewers)

Yes we need to enforce the laws that are on the books, and no that isn't me regurgitating a line from NRA affiliates. It's the truth, and it's the responsibility of our government. The problem is Washington, and the problem is on both sides.
That is a BS platitude that carries zero weight if they don't give the agencies responsible for the enforcement of those laws the ability to actually do their jobs. Even worse when they actively limit their ability to do so.

I know you are aware of how limited the ATF currently is so why do you keep saying that when you know it is effectively impossible?
Re-read it?
So, what? Not your job? Let's just accept it and move on? Status quo works?

You say you want the laws enforced how many letters have you written to your congressman? I guarantee you mine knows who I am, although he doesn't care (the NRA gives him an A).

Everything is the NRA's fault... Or republicans, or religious conservatives, or whoever.. Right.. Not like your team has a hand in this, they are doing everything right, it's the other side.. Bad guys...

I suppose the NRA sold thousands of military grade weapons to Mexican drug cartels..

I don't have a team, guy. Voted for Bush before he pissed me off then Ron Paul then Gary Johnson before finally going Obama this last go round. Obama has been not been anywhere near the socialist Fox news portrays him to be. In fact he has been a drone striking assassinating hard ###. I have difficulty seeing myself voting Hillary during the next cycle so I hope the Republican's manage to put someone interesting up against her but I can say that right now Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan can bite my shiny metal ###.

It's amazing that no matter how many times I say that I own multiple gun it doesn't seem to register with you because I am not terrified of the government kicking down my door. So that makes me some kind of hippie your eyes and I hate hippies.

The really sad part is that the people who are afraid of the government (and my votes for Paul and Johnson should indicate that I have a healthy mistrust of government) are misdirecting their concerns. It isn't the government but the intertwined relationships between the government and monied interests that are blurring the lines between business and government. It is the burgeoning corporatocracy that will control you through finances that you should be concerned with and your guns won't protect you from that.

Oh and I have reserved a particularly shiny spot on my metal ### for ###### ####### Wayne LaPierre. That guy is a ######## of the highest order, right up there with Ingrid Newkirk in my book.

As for FFL holders. I am not one. But the place that I purchased my pistol explained to me what they do with the forms pertaining to my purchase. The retain them in excess of the 20 year requirement. the 4473, the invoice from my purchase, the photocopy of my Drivers License they keep it all.

I can only imagine the cost to keep all these pieces of paper. My dad was a financial aid director for 30+ years and I'm pretty sure Bin Laden could have hidden in his file room until he died because of the paper trail requirements. I can only imagine what it's like for gun shops.
