Guys Riding Derrick Ward and Lamont Jordan (1 Viewer)

Jordan may be hurt bad enough to answer his part for itself, but what of Ward? Will the return of Brandon Jacobs and Dominic Rhodes bring about a change in depth charts for Ward and Jordan? Should those of us capitalizing on their success be looking for changes in our roster via waivers/trades?

I'm merely a Yahooer who hasn't learned the fine art of trades so my first option is usually to the waivers anyway. Ward has been running well...has he earned the right to still have the lion's share of the carries in New York? Is that even good enough to warrant keeping him on the roster? Was the return of Dominic Rhodes, assuming Jordan's injury isn't too bad, going to mean much anyway?

I wouldn't be too quick to assume thatthe Jordan injury isn't "too bad".Whether it is or not, Rhodes will have a big role to play in the OakTown offense. If the injury is major, then look for Fargas to step up as well.

Right, Right. I merely meant that if Jordan wouldn't have gotten injured, would Rhodes' return have meant anything anyway? I know he was a big FA pick-up, so I figured that their initial plan was to ride Rhodes to begin with...prior to that little failed drug test thing.

I have no clue what to do. My RB's are Rudi Johnson, MJD, Jordan, and Ron Dayne. Thankfully I'm 4-0 on the strength of Tony Romo, Gates, and Brandon Marshall.

However, with a severely hurting RB corps, my only hope right now is to ride with the hot waiver wire picks of the week.

This week, Jordan would have had a bye anyway, so I'll be starting Ron Dayne. He should have an ok enough game against Miami even if Ahman Green is back.

If you have Derrick Ward and Lamont Jordan, hopefully it means you have a good record too. If you do, then you might just have to suffer for a few weeks (or however long it takes Jordan to get healthy) and hope guys get better for the playoff run...

If Pittman and/or Ernest Graham are available, I think those are guys to pick up immediately.

If you have some depth, now is the time to trade away some of it to help replace Jordan. As for Ward, I wouldn't discount him yet.
