Guys Trip (1 Viewer)

A small group of guys go on a Fri - Sunday trip once a year. We usually do college football, but I'm pushing to do something different this year. Maybe golf, fishing, bourbon trail...something like that....and also possibly pushing it to a bit longer of a trip.

You guys got any ideas? Most of us are around central Arkansas, and we probably will plan to drive (though flying is certainly an option). If we drive, we're looking to stay in the 8-10 hr. drive range. Any choice spots in Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, etc. for an outdoors/sporting activity?

ETA:

Trip would take place sometime late August - early November.

bar hopping on the Redneck Riveria... hit an SEC football game and tailgate
I know this sounds blasphemous, but we've all kinda outgrown bar-hopping. I'm not spending $1000 and driving 15-20 hours roundtrip for a trip primarily based on drinking and tailgating. I can do that here.

Do a minor league ballpark tour if your a baseball fan. You can hit several in Texas alone. Frisco, Round Rock, San Antonio, Corpus Christi. Combo baseball/BBQ tour

You should go camping in a state park in Tennessee. You could stay in separate tents or the same tent. One day could be for golf and/or tennis. Another day could be for sight seeing and/or horseback riding. The third day could be for a nice breakfast, goodbyes and the ride home. The two nights could be for roasting marshmallows, drinking, farting and story telling.

What you guys can do is take turns telling one another stories. Person A would go first. He would tell three stories. Only one would be true. The other guys would guess which story is true.

Isn't the Robert Trent Jones track out there somewhere? Summer would be brutal though with the humidity.

New Orleans for parties/Baton Rouge for game/Gulf for redfish/Avondale for Golf/Mosca's for Italian
