Hancock's death was a tragedy and now I fear that it will be sullied by a vengeful father who has chosen to blame everyone even remotely involved except the one guy who should have quit drinking before he drrove home...his son. I understand that grief makes us do strange things, but this will only hurt his son's legacy.

This lawsuit makes me sick. It'd be one thing if the only defendant was the restaurant and the suit didn't seek damages. Then I could see it as him trying to simply send the message that it's not ok to continue serving visibly intoxicated people. The fact that the flatbed driver and company are named tells me this is a plea for damages. For what? To recover some loot for the loss of your degenerate son who not only drank himself into a stupor, but had marijuana and a pipe, refused the offer for a cab and was talking on his cellphone without wearing a seatbelt??? Are you kidding me?

How on earth could the Cardinals or MLB have ANYTHING at all to do with this? Are they supposed to provide a limo for each player?

I don't think he is in his right mind. Deep down I'm guessing he is hurting and just got hooked up with a lawyer who got him thinking that every person on Earth is somehow to blame for his son's death.

What a mess.

I hope the tow truck operator sues Hancock's estate for his reckless driving.

Josh Hancock just lost any amount of sympathy or respect I had for him. I realize he's not the one making the law suits, but the fact that:

A. He was irresponsible enough to drive intoxicated and endanger the lives of others and

B. His family is so insipid to actually go through with the lawsuits

....just makes me sick.
