on fixed rosters. My league only allows owners to carry 4 RBs max on rosters. Now, that Tomlinson's off his bye week, I'm thinking about dropping one of my RBs to grab Michael Turner. My current backs are:

LT

Kevin Jones

DeShaun Foster

Jamal Lewis

Would you handcuff Turner to LT at this time? It's risky in that when my #2 RB is on bye, I only have one choice. It's also presuming the Chargers do so well, they wrap up the playoffs early and start benching LT. I'm 3-0 and our playoff/championship is weeks 14-16.

Foster's the likely candidate since he's splitting significant carries already.

Any chance of working a trade to upgrade another position through a 2-man deal (say RB and WR)? You upgrade WR, open a spot for Turner, and don't release a guy with nothing in return. Thats usually the first thing I try to do in those situations.

It comes with risk, but if the Bolts continue running the ball on a colossal level with a weak schedule after the next 2 weeks, Turner's as likely to put up comparable points to Lewis, Foster or Jones, as freaky as that sounds.
