Hannity Stoned America (1 Viewer)

Watched some of it live when it aired. More conservative fear-mongering from Hannity. About what I expected when I put it on. I don't agree that all drugs should be legal, but MJ should not be a schedule 1 drug. That's absurd.

Further proof that Hannity isn't a small govt conservative.

I like his opening sequence showing the 420 event in CO. He could have just as well shown New Orleans during Mardi Gras or Anytown USA on St. Patrick's Day with alcohol. I wonder which event causes the most deaths?

I firmly believe that prohibition will be the top reason why the GOP comes in second for the next decade.

What a joke but I'd expect nothing less. Fear not facts.

Nicely balanced audience that's clearly a microcosm of America.

I consider myself to be a reasonably conservative individual, but I'd rather legalize marijuana instead of alcohol. I don't hear too many cases of someone high on pot slamming into a family sedan at 70 mph, killing everyone but the driver.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one alcoholic in their family. Pretty scary stuff.

Also, whoever heard of an angry pothead? I've never tried the stuff, and don't really have an inclination to do so, but as a narcotic, I would imagine that it would calm people down.

Well, I think this link right here http://www.mrc.org/sites/default/files/uploads/Marijuana%20with%20Labels.JPG will open your eyes to the brainwashing that is going on with marijuana.

People react like you're crazy if you are against Marijuana because the media trained them to think there are only benefits to marijuana.

liberal media brainwashes everyone to think marijuana is okay when it isn't and then when conservatives fight against that blatant lie the sheeple vote the liberals in because they were brainwashed to think it is idiotic to question Marijuana. Everything is done for a reason, so much trickery.

once again, http://www.mrc.org/sites/default/files/uploads/Marijuana%20with%20Labels.JPG says a lot.
I'm interested to know if you're speaking from experience or just what you've been taught. I can say my opinions regarding pot are based on my own experiences, both personal and friends/family. I do not find the way the media portrays marijuana use to be unfair but in fact its in line with my experience. What I do think is the majority of the people who are against the legalization have not used it and get their information from people relying on fear rather than fact.

I would have more respect for Hannity if he had come clean and said yes, he had tried it. At least he'd be speaking from a position of experience rather than trying to come off as morally superior.

You know what else isn't really great for you - sitting in the sun, soda, donuts, beer, bourbon, bacon, butter, looking at the internet for hours, playing video games all night, and a whole lot of other #### that people like to do.Why don't you like letting people live their lives.

You probably just post stuff that you don't really believe to elicit reactions which is strange. If not you sound like some control freak.

If there's one person that needs to fire up a J it's you.

People who want to smoke pot are already doing it. Once national legalization becomes reality they will just come out of the shadows and we can stop spending billions annually in a token effort to stop it and instead collect billions in tax revenue. If people are really concerned about public health, get rid of cigarettes. But that's too much of a cash cow so the illusion of public health concern is just that, an illusion.

And what 2 states produce the most tobacco? Kentucky and N. Carolina.

It is rare but does happen. There was a high profile case in Pittsburgh a couple years ago where a pot smoking teenager plowed into a mother jogging with her two kids.

Certainly just a fraction of the DUI cases but really any drug that affects your judgement, ability to concentrate or reaction time is dangerous if you are driving.

Most cats that are stoned are usually parked on a couch somewhere.
