It's been a long wait since last year, and now it's finally here.

Good luck everybody...except those people in my league.

Totally agree and best wishes to a healthy season for all FBG's fantasy and real NFL teams.

:banned: to all & good luck this season.

As an aside, I hate the Thursday night opener. I know it's stupid, but for me it takes a smidge of the luster off of the first Sunday. It used to be like Christmas with all of the presents unopened when you'd come downstairs. Now, it's like Christmas morning after you've opened some the night before.

:goodposting: I feel the same way. The start of the season should be 1pm Sunday.

I kind of agree, too, but no biggy in my book...Anyway... Cheers! To Football Season! :suds:

Absolutely. It reminds me of being a kid and being so excited that particular Sunday morning. I'd bum 50 cents off my dad to run down to the newsstand and pick up a USA Today--I'd pour over the Opening Day section and read all about the coming year. Other than an occasional Athlon magazine (if I saved enough lawn-mowing money), it was my only preview for the NFL year to come.Don't get me wrong, I love that there will be SIX different opportunities for us non-Sunday Ticketers to watch football games this week/weekend. Its just that having it all come at you on that first Sunday was so dizzyingly overwhelming and wonderful.
