Harry Douglas going forward. (1 Viewer)

I didn't get to see the game, but saw the numbers. Anyone that watched have thoughts on his value going forward?

I'm wondering If Ryan looked that good and could force it to Douglas anyway or if TB just looked that bad. If the truth is somewhere in between, what do you think 10 points a week, 12?

Douglas was Ryan's 1st read on most of the plays, and he actually looked much better than I expected. I hate saying this, but I would sort of discount the touchdown, as it was plain terrible coverage and he caught it wide open. All together, he looked quick, seemed to be running his routes well, and exhibited good YAC ability. However, it appears TB made some adjustments after half, and he didn't really do much at that point which is concerning. I think Roddy coming back would bring him down significantly, but as long as White is out or hampered then call me crazy, but I would consider Douglas a solid WR2 play.

Thanks, I was actually hoping that White coming back would give Douglas value as a 2nd option. Sounds like he may be a good candidate for me to try to sell high. Any other thoughts from anyone else?

I'm hanging on. white will only help. Ryan slings it a lot. plenty of production to go around. this guy will be a fine wr3 this year.

The Falcons only ran 14 plays total in the second half and had the lead the entire half. Maybe Tampa did adjust but it just seemed more like a bad game situation for production. Perhaps the bigger concern IMO is that he did most of his damage against the rookie Banks, not Revis. With some tape on him as a starter now, he could face tougher competition as teams prepare for him.

I do agree with the rest of your assessment though. He was getting a ton of looks and stepping up.

I'd be interested to hear your projections of Douglas going forward assuming Roddy comes back in the next couple weeks. I'm assuming you're a Atlanta fan and have now seen Douglas for the better party of five years now, so you probably have a good idea. I expected him to do close to nothing considering his history, and was incredibly surprised Sunday.
