Has Addai ever finished a game? (1 Viewer)

Seriously, I don't think he's finished a game yet this season. Sure he always plays following week but man is he soft.

Over the last couple of seasons Joseph has been running behind quite possibly one of the worst run blocking lines ever assembled. Sure they do a great job of protecting Manning because they are quick and agile, but when it comes to run blocking their effectiveness is exactly the opposite. Colts RB's are usually met in the backfield down after down, getting tee'd off on.

If it was only Joseph getting hurt than you could say he is vulnerable, but as things stand, none of the Colts RB's are healthy. Plus Joseph gutted it out when it was questionable if he should.

The fact Addai is still functioning behind that line is actually a testament to his toughness.

Funny how people sitting in front of a computer call a NFL RB "soft" because he gets injured during games. Addai may not be the most durable RB ever but he consistently plays through injuries, including last night when he came into the game with neck/shoulder problems and then took a really big hit from London Fletcher.

BTW, through 5 games this year the Skins hits have directly led to some form of injury to D. Ware, A Johnson, Steven Jackson, Vick, Finley, Rogers, and Addai. I know it's the NFL and guys get hurt every week. And I really don't wish injury on any players or any teams BUT, as a Skins fan, it's nice to root for a team that, if nothing else, is gonna play really physical football and smack you in the mouth every week.

Addai doesn't care that you needed a few more points out of him.
didn't even start him smart guy. nor have i ever this season.
Then "smart guy," you must play in a very non-competitive league.
i start Bradshaw, DeWill or Bush over Addai. Yes i play in a yahoo public league. Winner gets a cool congratulatory email.

:( The Skins defense has won me two games this season by taking out opposing players. :lmao:

PPR, Addai is averaging more than Bush or Deangelo...I'm sure you know that though...

Addai runs tough every game I see him play. He's a warrior.Last night he got crushed and still got up and walked off the field like a man. He has my ultimate respect.

Addai is the Rodney Dangerfield of RBs.

Sad how people in this board (not all, but many) have no respect for others at all, whether players or posters.

Addai has been hated on these boards since he was drafted. I'm tired of the people saying he's not talented, he's soft, etc. It's beyond ridiculous. Addai is from an NFL standpoint, one of the most complete backs in the league. People swarm all over Forte because he's a good receiver, and ignore that he's a terrible runner. Addai is both a better receiver and runner. He's probably one of the best RBs at picking up the blitz. He is one of the better GL runners as well. While he may have lost some speed after 5 years, he's still a very good runner. He's also one of the toughest RBs in the league playing behind one of the worst run blocking OLs.

But I guess a TD and 100+ rushing yards just isn't good enough for someone's FF team.

Hoping you're in multiple leagues because I'd love to hear about those teams too.

Quit confusing yahoos with stuff like stats.

I'm echoing everything others said about Addai being an underrated and extremely important part of the Colts offense. I think the truth is that Donald Brown would be a significant downgrade. However, in defense of the OP, Addai has been pretty banged up this season, and I'm pretty worried that his play might decline over the 2nd half of the season. This has legitimate implications for fantasy owners who might consider selling high.

:bowtie:I've never owned Addai, and rarely do I agree with Switz on things. He's on point with this one. Anyone who's watched him since coming into the league could see this.
