Has anyone dumped K's from your roster requirements? (1 Viewer)

We do minus 1 per missed fg/xp...and only 24 points separated #1 from #10. I'll have to add in some bigger changes.

i know this is not what the thread is about at all. but we have dumped TEs from roster requirements long ago.
it really allows for team specialization and adds flexability to a starting lineup. to start off we only field 5 skill positions. 1 QB, either 2 RBs, 2wrs or 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WRs. so yeah short starting lineup but we have 16 slot teams so we get our depth. we can use TEs to fill a reciever spot and i like it that way. this way teams can be balanced and have more of a chance to fill out a roster. anyways i love the way our league plays out it is very competitive and i like that you can go after TEs and not be stuck with trying to grab a TE because you have to then stricking dumb luck because you had them in there just cause. i worked a few guys around had a good set there for a bit did not use them alot but hey.
as for kickers i love them. and yes they have won me games. when ackers and elam had their big years a few years ago i had a bunch of low scoring games where they would score 12 or 15 quite regularly and their performance was the key. plus if the unlikely happens and they throw or run a TD it is awesome they get credit for it. the only way you can take away the kicker is if you split the special teams from the Defense because either you have just lost alot of points to the void or you have made defesnes extremely valuable now. i would be ok with that if you want to calculate return yards, their TDs, and the kicker stats that would be ok. add more to the game and make drafting more strategic but then defenses become almost obsolete and then everyone either transitions to IDPs or you get rid of the defense all together. you may not like the kickers but they do have a place in FFB.
