Has anyone ever seen... (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen an end zone pylon placed well out of bounds like it was when Andre Johnson scored his touchdown last night. While I was watching the play develop, i thought to myelf, "That pylon is two yards out of bounds..." He went diving to the end zone with the ball in hand (and I'm pretty sure looking for the pylon) and still scored, but I was like...."Uhhh, that doesn't look right"

He still scored, and it was clear that he got the ball in, but I wondered to myself if anyone has ever seen that before?

It's known as a moveable pylon.

It's part of the home field advantage. The ground crew moves it each quarter, to make sure the home team has an advantage in scoring.
