wait and see? he's on IR.We drafted VERY early this year so Lundy was a WW pickup (by me). I've been offering him, but no one has taken the bait. The Dom Davis owner is actually not panicing yet and has adopted a wait and see attitude, but I think that might change if Lundy has 100 total yards and a score week one.
I am in the same situation in a 14 team league where there are some owners that are severly challenged at RB. I picked him up off the WW and have been shopping him for a week or so with no takers. I have pretty good RB depth so I'll just hold on and hope he establishes himself as the clear cut starter. Then hopefully the price goes up.We drafted VERY early this year so Lundy was a WW pickup (by me). I've been offering him, but no one has taken the bait. Same boat here, I have Edge, Parker and McGahee (keeper league) ahead of him so if he doesn't pan out, I'm no worse for wear.I'm hoping for a big game from Lundy this week. I'm hanging on to him for now, and am gambling that his value will increase. My RBs are fine without him.
He has Thomas Jones too so he's waiting to see how he turns out. If Lundy establishes himself this week and Benson and Jones look to be RBBC, he'll come around.wait and see? he's on IR.We drafted VERY early this year so Lundy was a WW pickup (by me). That's a great deal. You're just about guarenteed 1200 yards and 7 TDs out of Driver. Who knows about the HOU RB's.I traded Lundy/Morency for Driver. I think I got the better end of the deal (considering they were my 5th RB)
Heh, I just got an offer in my league: Boldin for Lundy and Roy Williams.I was involved in discussions yesterday with a desperate D. Davis owner (only other backs were Edge, Lendale White and Moats). I actually decided to give up T. Bell instead of Lundy/Morency. I think Lundy can do very good things as an RB2 in that offense, both running and catching the ball. So, I traded T. Bell straight up to get DJax. The other owner tried to get Lundy instead of T. Bell, for what it's worth..
Gonna take it?Deranged Hermit said:Heh, I just got an offer in my league: Boldin for Lundy and Roy Williams.Judge Smails said:I was involved in discussions yesterday with a desperate D. Yeah, probably. Like I said previously, my other RBs are Edge, Parker and McGahee (keeper league) so I got other bullets in the chamber in case one of them goes down.Gonna take it?Deranged Hermit said:Heh, I just got an offer in my league: Boldin for Lundy and Roy Williams.Judge Smails said:I was involved in discussions yesterday with a desperate D. I offered Lundy and LJ Smith for Watson but he didnt bite. His starters are Dillon and Gore (he also has Maroney). Heres hoping Lundy goes for 100 and 2TDs this week. If he does Im bettin Ill get an email.I just traded him and H. Miller for Ben Watson. I have RB depth, so Iwill take the upgrade at TE.
Don't want to make anyone mad, but I traded Lundy and Coles to the DD owner for Chad Johnson and MoMo.4 player keeper league... I won't even keep Johnson next year.
I am in a similar situation. The DD owner in our 14 team keeper league has SJax and not much else. I am hesitant to trade Lundy away, as my starting RBs are FWP and Chester, and the DD owner does not have any real upgrades he could offer me at other positions.Waiting to see how week 1 pans out before doing anything.I offered the DD owner in my 14 team league Lundy and Bruce for Walker and was deniedHis Rb's are S. Jackson, M. Anderson, Norwood, Toefield, C. Houston and Dayne. If Lundy has a decent game, I may hear from him next week.As I said in a previous post there are a lot of owners whoa re very thin at RB in my league.here are just a few of the backs some owners are starting this weekDuckettMike AndersonT. Didn't need Lundy and wanted to upgrade recievers so Lundy and Drew Bennet for DriverRo3384 said:I've been shopping Lundy around. The DD owner is pretty deep at RB, but could use Lundy. I offered him Lundy and Jamal Lewis for Chris Chambers, declined...I've been trying to trade Mike Bell away too... no takers. I don't need either of them, so I will just let them sit my bench and collect trade value. Once they have some bigger games, people will come to their senses
Of course how can you trade a aging QB that will probably play 8 games this season for a young starting RB.The one getiing Lundy is laughing.Lundy just got traded in my league for Kurt Warner stright up...I didn't really like the trade, but I guess I gotta hope Morency takes over the starting job now...
Doesnt really matter for DD owners , is carreer is over .We drafted VERY early this year so Lundy was a WW pickup (by me). I've been offering him, but no one has taken the bait. Why your trading starting RBs for someone who might never start.tecmo bo said:just sent lundy and morency away for mike turner and a third rounder next year in a dynasty
Has Dayne ever excelled as a goalline back? The Ron Dayne signing has made trading Lundy a bit more difficult. I think we will need to see Lundy produce in a game and get some short yardage carries. If he shows he can do it, we will be able to get something for him. Of course, if he does well, we may not want to trade him. I guess this is a tough situation for now, so as Lundy owner, I am going to take a wait and see approach.
I was offered Owens for Lundy, Morency, and Rod Smith by the Davis owner in a 14 team redraft league. It could be a mistake, but I declined.
