Hasselbeck-thinking of trading for him. (1 Viewer)

I did a search and the last post re: Hasselbeck was a few weeks back.

Obviously he and his WR's got dinged up. Just wondering what everybody and the SEA homers think about the SEA passing game.

Can it be recussitated?

The SOS going forward looks ok as his opponents are allowing 17.0 pts per game. The rest of the schedule looks ok; IF they can get the offense going:

GB

@TB

@SF

PHI

@MIA

AZ

Washington

@Dallas

NE

@STL-Week 15

Jets-Week 16

STL and the Jets look to be good FF playoff matchups.

I'm a partial believer. He was dropped in my 10-teamer last week and I scrambled to scoop him up, dropping Schaub to get him. I figured that with Branch and Engram coming back that the offense would start to come together. I'm a bit muddled now, though, since Branch got injured last week and Hass was beat up a bit last game. So, I'm the same boat as you, and I'm cautiously optimistic.

It's hard for me to stay positive about the guy after the start he's had.

For me, he's a decent play at home. On the road, make sure you stay far, far away, i.e. decent play this week at home against GB....avoid at all costs next week @ TB.

I expect him to have a nice game this week. He'll be playing for Holmgren in his coach's last go-round against his former team. The Packers' secondary is wounded and vulnerable and the Hawks are an entirely different team at home. Not sure why FBG has him rated so low this week -- poor call, IMO.

I hear you, @ SF and @ STL he should fall into the "decent play" category.Hard to pull the trigger on the trade I'm looking at, but my QB's are unproven. Obviously 2007 stats are out the window; he still has a decent Top 200 ranking though. QB15; the guy I drafted is QB11 so I'm just trying to shore things up.

I wouldn't trade him while his value is so low.Give him time to rebound a little.
Yeah, except I'm contemplating trading FOR him. My QB's are average at best; just trying to shore up the position. I'm cautiously optimistic as others have posted.Good schedule, but will they rebound?

I've got this trade on the table involving Hass. Your thoughts?

I get Larry Johnson, Bobby Engram and Brodie Croyle

I give Matt Hasselbeck and Thomas Jones

The Jets are much improved this year - I am hesitant to say that they are a favorable matchup for Hass at this point.

Ok, obviously AZ>SEA; but they gave up a ton of passing yards/tds.
