Rotogasm League
Four Sport Fantasy League
What is it?
It’s a 4 sport (baseball, football, basketball & hockey) fantasy league where owners compete both within each sport’s fantasy league, and compete for points in overall standings among the 4 leagues. We are aiming for 12 teams to participate in this league. Each team will earn a descending amount of points from first to last place in the standings of each fantasy league (Examples: If you finish 1st in baseball, you earn 12 points in the standings, if you then finish 4th in football, you earn 9 points in the standings, if you finish 8th in hoop, you would earn 5 points in the standings, and finally if you finish 12th in hockey, you would earn 1 point in the standings. Your total points in the standings would be 26). We intend to split the winnings into 2 halves. One half would be split amongst the top winners in the 4 individual leagues and the other half would go to the top scorers in the overall standings. This league is going to be a dynasty league, where you keep your players as long as you want, with rookie drafts for each sport, and in-season add/drops during each sport’s seasons. We plan on making the NFL, NBA, & NHL fantasy leagues head to head points leagues, and the MLB fantasy league a rotisserie league. In the head to head leagues, we intend on playing double headers every week.

2.    The Late June 2017 Rotogasm MLB, NHL, & NBA rookie drafts will occur at the same time. We will do a 6 round MLB rookie draft, then a 5 round NHL rookie draft, and then followed up by a 4 round NBA rookie draft. The order for these drafts will be drawn at random.
3.    Team will be able to store their MLB and NHL rookies for 2 years on a separate roster or IR list. A t the end of this term, teams will have to decide whether to keep these players on their active roster or release them.
4.    The 2018 Rotogasm NFL rookie draft in early May 2018 will be 6 rounds based on reverse order of Rotogasm NFL standings.

Rotogasm Add/Drops 2017-18 Year One
1.    We will use a FAAB system of waiver wire pickups for all leagues during their individual sport’s season. FAAB is an add/drop system where teams blind bid for free agents, with the highest bidder winning the free agent.
a)    We will use a $100 budget for all leagues.
2.    Our start-up draft will conclude sometime in June, in the middle of the 2017 MLB season. Even though we won’t be competing during this season, we will still have a shortened $50 FAAB budget for free agent pick-ups during the baseball season.
