I love crap food but would never hit me to get a burger at DQ.
I assume people do but can't be that many people eating there, right?

Good post...was actually about to post the same thing about the burgers. The chicken finger basket with Texas toast and gravy is okay as well. The burgers aren't bad actually for fast food. Never tried the hot dogs.
Eating a Queen's hot dog is not a good idea. The burgers aren't bad actually for fast food. Never tried the hot dogs.
It's the best fastfood burger I've ever had. I'd eat there every time I needed a quick meal if it didn't take 5+ minutes for them to make it.I love crap food but would never hit me to get a burger at DQ.

Mmmm, Country gravy.Never had a burger, but done the chicken strip basket a time or two.
It's not bad at all.
It's pretty solid for its price range. The 5 Buck Lunch (burger, dog or chicken strips plus fries, drink and sundae) is a sweet deal.
Anything thread worthy?I spent a few months driving around the country after college- had never been in a DQ prior or since. Don't remember the burgers being good or bad- just foodstuff.
What I do remember is at some point we started seeing billboards for the "World's Largest DQ" in hundreds of miles. By the time we got there, we were ####### jonesing to have whatever it was they were selling, and to see this Taj Mahal of fast fooderies. I'm guessing every DQ in the world is exactly the same size and that this one happens to be maybe 5 square feet bigger- it was no different than any other DQ. Like calling a Motel 6 room the biggest Motel 6 in the world... yeah- ok.

Don't remember these up north but they're around the south. Our nearest outlet center has one that's OK while shopping. With all the commercials touting the food lately Ive been wondering where these places even are? In my life Ive seen one Dairy Queen that actually sold food and the two that are semi near me right now don't. Maybe its a regional things no idea.

I believe only in beach type / summer tourist markets (i.e. Ocean City, MD).Don't they close down for the winter?
Thanks. I'm probably thinking of the mom & pop ice cream parlors you see people lined up outside in the summer.I believe only in beach type / summer tourist markets (i.e. Ocean City, MD).Don't they close down for the winter?
In my end of St. Paul, about half close for some period of time in the winter, ranging from 2-5 months, and the rest are open all year.Don't they close down for the winter?
