Have you ever won two championships in the same year? (1 Viewer)

That's what I stand on the cusp of this week. Been playing fantasy football in two leagues since 2001. They are my original and only leagues and both are hardcore. Have won one championship in each before, but obviously not in the same year. One is a bunch of college buddies and the other a bunch of work and local friends. It would be AMAZING to win both.

The scoring is very similar in each and I have the following overlapping players...

Aaron Rodgers vs. Sea - what can I say... He's the man for both my squads

Vernon Davis vs Det - could bench in either league - for Gates @Ten in one league or Finley vs Sea in the other

SF D vs Det - could bench for AZ vs StL in one league - would mainly do it to diversify

Rob Birones vs SD - riding his hot streak on both squads

In one league I may triple down on Rodgers by benching VD for Finley to go along with Driver. I'm that sick. I am benching Calvin Johnson for Fitz/Miles/VJax in the other league. Hate to bench guys like VD and CJ because they always are one big play from a big day. Yikes!

Wish me luck... PLEASE!

BTW, the Shark Pool is a HUGE reason for my success, so if I do win, it's because of the insights of this board - it's by far the best on the net! Thank you to everyone who makes this place so great!!!

nope never, but this year im in the super bowl in all 3. complete luck because i am average at best.

I play in two leagues and last year I was able to pull off the feat. I find myself in the same position this year; hoping lightning strikes twice.

I came close to having an opportunity this year. Cutler killed me on Sunday though. I play in only 2 leagues and I am in the Championship game in one and the 3rd place game in the other.

Ask me again on Tuesday, I'm in two leagues and in both Championship games but consider myself the underdog in at least one and probably both.

Good Luck! I had this happen to me 2 years ago. I almost had the trifecta. I lost 1 of the 3 though, but two 1st's and a 2nd wasn't bad. I had something like a $900 payday for my $160 investment. I'm in 1 championship game so far this season, and I'm in the semi's in my league that has a week 17 championship. By the way, the week 17 championship is the one I lost 2 years ago.P.S. No need to respond to the week 17 championship, because I already know that week 17 championships suck, I'm trying to get the league to switch, but to no avail so far. I won't quit trying though.

10 leagues ... too many but some are dynasty leagues I can't quit and others are local I can't quit. Made the playoffs in 8. 2 wrong decisions and one horrible owner decision that worked out for my opponent knocked me out of 3. Won all 5 last week so I'm still in 5 Superbowls for week 16 plus actually contending for week 1-16 high points and the toilet bowl in one of the two I didn't make the playoffs in.

I play in 4 leagues and won 2 of them last year. Also won 2 of them a few years ago. This year, despite having some good teams, not so much...

Good luck!!

I won all four of my leagues in 2007. Three were (small) money 12 team leagues and the other was admittedly a not overly competitive 10 teamer. The three leagues were 1 dynasty, 1 redraft auction, 1 redraft 3RR. I didn't have a single player in more than 2 leagues.

Especially considering the player diversity, it took an incredible amount of luck.

Sadly, I realized I had nowhere to go but down!

I went two for two one year (and won a 3rd as an advisor for friend in his league), but I can't honestly say the leagues were extremely competitive. One was fairly competitive with only a couple weak owners. The other was a joke.

Made the semis in all 3 of my leagues: all redraft, one ultra-competitive, one that's been running for 4 years and one upstart shallow 10-team league.

Heading into the Super Bowl as the clear favorite and points leader in two... haven't made it this far in fantasy before but this is only my first year playing multiple leagues (3rd year overall).

I usually play in 4-6 leagues. In 2005 I won two titles, both keeper leagues that I had been in for a few years and am still playing in.

This year I'm playing in the championship game in three of my four leagues. One other year I played in three title games but only won one of them.

I try to stick to two really highly competitive leagues, one redraft and one dynasty. This year was the first year that I really had a shot at winning both as I had the #1 seed and a 1st round bye in the playoffs of each (it helps that in the dynasty league my team has made the championship game three straight years now).

It wasn't meant to be though, as I got knocked out in a close game in the redraft league this week.

Never played in more than two leagues and won both twice. One season, one of the leagues was total points, so it didn't have the "one and done" pitfall of the H2H format.

So Jerome Harrison is available both leagues. I'm putting in a waiver claim for him in one league and am going to wake up at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow to try to snag him in the other. Not sure that I'll actually play him but his matchup at home this week against the Raiders will keep me up at night if one or both of my opponents grab him as they both have suspect RB2s.

I'm in 4 super bowls in 8 $$$$ dynasty leagues this year. I've won 2 in one year once, but I didn't play in 8 leagues then either.

That's why I life and die by the Lineup Dominator to manage my teams (and the MFL importer). I know people that are in 20+ ... that's a lot ... 10 just takes some organization :)

2006 I won 3 out of 5 money leagues, and made the finals in a 4th.

2007 was the only other year I won a SB.

In 2 this week (played 3 $$ leagues this year).

I'm in two leagues and never pulled off the feat. In league A I've been in it for 8 years and won it once and I'm in the SB this week. In league B I'm in my 6th year and never made it to the SB, I'm in the semis this week.

Yes 4 times but I have been playing since Franchise FB was in the 1991 Miller Lite cases that my friends dad would get us!

I am in 4 Champ games out of 8 Leagues this year! 3 this week and one was a FFOC in week 10 (made final 362 for Vegas and then was out).

Happy Holidays and good luck to you all!

This is also my situation. I'll probably play in two championship games and lose both of them.

While it's so easy to lie online, I'm actually going to be honest and say no. Been playing fantasy since 1999 and have always been in 1-3 leagues per year (did 4 leagues just once in 2006; made the playoffs in one and was out by semi-finals). But never celebrated a dual-championship in the same year. However, in 2005, I made it to two Super Bowls. A 2-QB work league (that I won) and a 16-team 5-player keeper online league where I was defending my '04 title (that I lost).

If there's a benefit to just making one SB, it's you get to root just for your players and don't fall into the situation where you have to root and jeer the same player because you're both starting and playing against him.

3 leagues every year for the last 10, won 6 championships, but never 2 in one year, but have a chance to do that this weekend. :fingerscrossed&knockonwood:

I won both my leagues last year...first time in 5 years for one of them.

My teams were WR heavy, TE D. Clark, and RBs pairs CJ2k/LenDale and DeAngelo/JStewart (along with T.Jones). My QB draft was bad (always seems to be) but picked up Schaub, Thigpen, and Orton.

So my draft hit on my later round RBs and I did alot of inseason stuff on the Wire to fix my QB mistakes.

2 leagues this year and in the finals for both. First I made the finals for both leagues in the same year.

I have none of the same players, not even bench players. 1 is a 10 team and the other is a 16 team league.

The issue I have this week is that in 1 league I'm starting Romo, Steven Jackson, Santonio Holmes and Fred Davis and my opponent in the other league has those 4 players starting as well.

It's not likely I win both.. we'll see.

I won 2 of my 3 leagues this year. $760 payout for $160 entry fees.

Even though I won, I still hate week 17 championship games. I won because I picked up Arian Foster and Devin Aromasadu. I also had to play Kyle Orton over Tom Brady, good thing it's a TD only league that doesn't score negative points for INT's. I disproved the theory that you can't win a Superbowl with Kyle Orton. Basically I won because I had better week 17 waiver pickups (Foster, Aromasadu, Thanks Shark Pool) than my opponent. Why should an entire season come down to waiver wire fodder?
