I really don't see the concept as inherently racist. If there are sites for groups as narrow as farmers, ethnic sites like j-date, etc. Everybody was fine with all of those, they should be fine with this.

I was pointing out that the reasons people would probably give for creating/using Farmers Only and J-Date can't really be extended to dating sites based on race without making them racist. Therefore the argument that because those sites are OK whitepeoplemeet.com must also be OK is a flawed argument.

I didn't say whitepeoplemeet.com is OK, or not OK. I said that the existence of Farmers Only and J-Date doesn't automatically make it OK.

When I was on Match.com, I received 20 messages from unattractive women for every one I got from an attractive one. It never once made me feel awkward. Whether it was from a fat chick or a black chick or an Asian chick. And I never once thought it was the worst thing ever to get a wink or message from a black woman.
