An interveiwer asked him about his comments re: Peyton Manning...here's a video link:

In a nutshell, he said that HE and Peyton were at the Gridiron contest together, He reiterated that he was kidding, he had nothign against PM and called PM "the best QB in the league". Said he was not trash talking, he was just playing around -- said this whole thing was "a bunch of hoopla over nothing...for that I apologize".

People who weren't looking to stir the pot surmised this a while ago.

I kind of wish I was Goofy at Disney - much lower-stress job, and those guys get paid pretty well.

Those guys get paid $6.25 an hour, they are college interns who are exploited by Disney.

Really? Never mind, then - I don't want to be Goofy. The Disney sites/job fairs (I ran a booth at a job fair a few weeks ago and was right next to the Disney booth) make it sound as if you rake in the cash. Of course, they're going to do that regardless, but I thought a company that size might be on the up and up.

The thing that has me most pzzd about Ward is being from Atlanta and a Georgia Alumnus, his snubbing of his college roots in the playoffs during intros and deifying his suburban Atlanta high school. Seen that. Gets old. Kind of bush league now.

"Any time I see a young guy who is hungry and willing to listen, I go out of my way to help them," he said. "If you want to help yourself, then I want to help you. That's my attitude and approach."

WOW. Talk about diametrically opposed attitudes between Ward and Seymour.

"Any time I see a young guy who is hungry and willing to listen, I go out of my way to help them," he said. "If you want to help yourself, then I want to help you. That's my attitude and approach."

WOW. Talk about diametrically opposed attitudes between Ward and Seymour.

Hmm...no? Learn to read dum-dum. Ward did all he could to mentor Troy Edwards and Plaxico Burress and but he realised that they didn't want help. But just like Seymour, he's more than willing to mentor someone that wants to be mentored (Santonio Holmes).
