I like the D, but I think I'm in for a headache most weeks. What would you look to do? FWIW, it's a 32 team league where each player is available twice (so consider it as a 16 teamer)

With that PD number, you need to concentrate on corners and safeties who tackle rather than cover.I think I'd look into flipping a DE (you've got four solid ones and Hali) for a run stuffing corner to pair with Robinson, undertackle, or backer. My guess is that linebackers are easily the bellcows in this scoring system. You've got a pretty good foursome for a 16 teamer, but that position should always be at the forefront of your management strategy.

You can probably get an undertackle cheaply on the wire. Vonnie Holliday might be an interesting option for you. I'd also tuck Rod Wright's name away to grab off of waivers at the end of this season. There will be quite a few interesting rookie DTs that could work themselves into value during the season as well.

Parrish is good for one more year, so you'll probably need to address that situation soon too.

Not bad at all for a big league, though. I think you've got great options at every position, except maybe DT, and you ought to be able to address that pretty easily inseason.

Thanks. What do you expect from Patterson? Seems to me he has potential.

FWIW, Bly was the #16 CB in pts per game last year, and Madieu the #3 S in 2004. But overall, it seems you're right, tackles are a key stat.

I've tried to move Justin Smith before, for a pick without any luck. What LBs would you target for him? I like Hargrove and Hali's potential a lot, I'm a Lions fan, and Suggs is a stud, so that pretty much leaves Smith unless it's worthwhile to trade Suggs.

Link to rosters a lot of people from that league frequent here, but I don't mind if they read the replies.

I read somewhere that Justin Smith was moved back to RDE from LDE (where he played last year and he is eligible for unrestricted free agency after this season) so you know he's going to be playing hard for a big contract and perhaps his percieved value has gone up. In my mind it has. I was able to trade him for an early 3rd round rookie pick this off season. I only traded him because I only had him under contract for 1 more year. I'm not sure who I would target from the linebackers for him. I might go after Bradie James or Ayodele. I think one of them is going to be pretty good ILB and get some good points. my 2 cents
