I usually use the DTBC recommendations, but the article wasn't out when I drafted. So I just took the best defense available at my pick, which was Cincinnati.
The article recommends CHI-NYG, and shows the weeks to play them. However, I noticed that CIN-SD was actually the top rated one by strength of schedule. Since I already have Cincy, would it make sense just to pick up SD?
My other question is, how to I use the information from the article to plan my schedule? From the explanation, I think I just take the number from the first table, add or subtract 3 points depending on home or away, and then compare numbers.
For example, if Cincy is playing the Falcons at home, their number is 239.5 while if SD is playing the Jets on the road, their number is 230.0. Is that right?
