Help with WatchE S P N activation (1 Viewer)

I have a friend who's desperate to authenticate WatchE S P N before tonight's bcs games. He'll donate $20 to your favorite charity (whatever that might be) via paypal, . Is he crazy?

I believe we need more info ie. Does he want this streamed on his iPhone? Is this a streaming show via googlecast/appleTV? What Service provider (cable / Dish ) Does he already have some type of "sling" device OR a network cable hooked up from his receiver to his router at home?

If ya want to provide a link which states "Watch ESPN" and it looks legit? I can try to figure it out

p.s. You could tell him your buying the beer and plan to watch the game via youtube later tonight (IF your having trouble w/ my questions/direction) Either way lets hold off on PM's because We could help someone else and/or you may get the right answers from someone else faster...

Oh be careful of posts that ya respond too in here (some are special, and actually hoping to become Fisher of Men) :fishing:

Activate your Xbox ... Verify your subscription. Click continue to visit your provider's website and verify your account

I just found this using google..

Is your friend trying to watch ESPN on his xbox?

If so does he have an account to watch espn on TV? / Does he have xbox airtime?

To be clear, he has DirecTV but is on the road. DirecTV recently signed a deal with Disney to allow ESPN streaming services to authenticate apps on iPhone, appleTV and such, but it won't be available until "early 2015". Subscribers to most cable providers and Dish Network can already authenticate their devices to stream ESPN, but not DirecTV subscribers.

He needs someone to login to their TV provider's website and enter a code to activate a device.

Long Ball Larry, the friend's name is Alfred E Newman.
