Going against Houston this week and could be a good start. I just have one question.

Week 1 Henry scored 2 TD (L White dnp)

Week 7 Henry scored 1 TD (L White dnp)

White has been taking 6-8 carries which hurts Henry but will he take the Goalline carries? Have they both been active in a game where they their team had a chance to rush at the goalline? Projections for week 8?

Henry is back.

Start him with confidence with the thought that he will get a majority of the carries.

My thoughts, as a LenDale White dynasty owner... I'll try not to be too biased...

Henry has has 2 terrific games in a row. And its probably safe to expect another nice week against Houston. The Texans D is really getting hit by injuries. And even healthy, they were pretty weak against the run.

If White is healthy, Expect Henry to take 20 carries, White 8-10. If there is a rushing TD, I expect Henry to get it.

Beyond this week, things get a bit cloudy. Jacksonville, Baltimore, Philly and the Giants. Jax D has some injuries too, and Henry will probably be good for 80, maybe a TD. But those 3 next games promise to be brutal. The Ravens D should be able to shut the Titans running game down. Philly and NYG could easily jump ahead with big leads and force the Titans to pass.

If Henry doesn't produce in those last 3, expect White to push the split to 50-50, if not take the job all together. If Henry DOES survive those 3 games with decent production, he might stick around for a long, long time.

But, at some point, White will be getting double digit carries. Chris Brown will leave as a free agent. To retain Henry, the Titans will have to pay a large (something like $5 million, I think) bonus in the spring. Before they spend that kind of cash on Henry, they will want to see what White can do.

I'm rooting for White. Logic says White will get a shot. But really, its a toss-up. If Henry keeps producing, it'll be tough for the coaches to pull him.

I am a Henry owner, but tend to agree that his run won't last forever.

The Titans will want to see what Lendale White can do, and they also face a tougher part of the schedule coming up.

Anyone disagree with that?

That would seem to be the logical conclusion here. What I'm interested to see this week is whether the Titans go back to the split they had before with Henry and White (i.e. Henry getting the bulk of the carries but White getting 6-10) or whether Henry gets nearly all of them and White is a bystander. White was running well before his illness so I'll be interested to see if Fisher remembers that or if Henry's huge Week 6 will be enough to bury White for awhile.

I don't disagree with you in that I think they will want to see what they have in White but doesn't anyone think that the most important thing in their minds is keeping Vince Young safe? Adding a rookie RB to a rookie QB can be deadly for the QB. I would think they'd tend to lean more on Henry, at least for the rest of this year, just to protect Young. I have to think Henry is MUCH better than White in pass protection and defending the blitz. Why jeopardize your supposed "franchise QB" by relying on a rookie to pick up the blitz?

I think Henry's 2nd wind will keep White on the bench.I'm a huge White fan, but I'm nearly as big of a Henry fan, and am glad he's showing signs of life again.I hope he goes for 200 against Houston.

Henry owner:

Henry had 32 carries for 178 yds and 2 TD's last game. He's coming off a bye. He's as healthy as he's gonna get. I'm sure that the Titans want to limit VY's passing so as to reduce the chances of an interception. They play the Texans for chrissakes.

What better odds are you gonna get?

Having said this, he will tank. I'm sure of it.

I hope Henry's back, at least for this week. I'm starting him over Ahman Green as a fill in for Clinton Portis' bye. Tatum Bell is my other starter.

Henry is just turning 28 and has about 1100 career rushes. His coach has said "In my opinion,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said, "he has a whole lot of runs and yards and broken tackles and years left in him.'' http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar.../610270417/1027

He is due $8.3 million next year so he'll either renegotiate or get cut and land elsewhere. Henry has been productive when healthy. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a couple of good years left.
