You do realize you are single handledly going bring our rookie draft to a screaching halt?
He's on perfect timing for me. I've got the #7 pick, the 4th was just made but we're waiting for the 24 hour offseason veto process since the 5th just got traded (we stretch ours out via posts, not live). While info I just got about the #5 pick suggests I might be lucky enough to have my choice made for me, reading Bloom's rankings might help put my mind a little more at ease.Draft thus far:1 Peterson2 Lynch3 Johnson4 Russell5 The guy who just traded up to here is thinking Willis or a WR6 So either way...7 ...I should get Brady Quinn or Brandon JacksonHopefully Bloom agrees.

In the long run it's up to you and what's best for your team.

Yeah I know. I just like reading what a few experts have to say on the issue, especially seeing as there's been so little discussed on here. Was sorta hoping some might be generated.Plus I'll have someone out there in cyberspace to blame when Jackson turns into the next Troy Williamson for me :2cents: .

For others in a similar situation, I think it can be agreed that while Jackson is a high risk/high reward prospect, Quinn looks like a fairly safe option here.

I'm happy to let someone else take Beason, Willis or Posluszny early on since they're yet to really know where they will be lining up come September. Beason looks the safest to be either MLB or WLB, not sure what the Niners plan to do with Willis, and Pos may line up effectively as the SLB.

And I feel it might be a little too early to take a WR with so much depth at the position this year.

I'd be surprised if Willis weren't inside, but he still lost some luster in the 3-4. Willis at #5 seems like a reach.

Folks 1-50 is almost in the can. Expect it in the next hour.
