I gave it to a guy in my league who needed a cheat sheet for our draft. He did no preparation, used the cheat sheet for his entire draft and is now 4-0 in our league. :D Unbelievable.

You need to post more info or GTFO :football:
haha ... i agree ... its one thing to know the guy is 4-0, but most are interested on see what players he was lucky with if you have to the time to post the entire draft along with the cheatsheet, that would be something --- but the cheatsheet itself is a must (along with this guy's team)i guess i would expect to see picks like Michael Turner in round 2, Boldin in round 3, Cutler in round 4, Ronnie Brown in round 5 (i'm basically just posting players who have been very good thus far assuming this guy reached much higher than their ADP for them --- regardless of whether or not these players are for real)

12-team league, redraft, no PPR, standard scoring. We start a QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, D:

QB-- Cutler

QB-- Bulger

RB -- Barber III

RB -- Rudi Johnson

RB -- Fargas

RB -- Jonathan Stewart

WR -- Calvin Johnson

WR -- Chad Johnson

WR -- Holt

WR -- Anthony Gonzalez

TE -- Heap

K -- Kaeding

K -- Scobee

(yes, he has two kickers)

D -- Giants

He took Rudi Johnson and Fargas real early in the draft. I think those picks were influenced by the cheat sheet. Every other pick was not that bad considering where the players were taken.

Cutler, Barber, and Megatron carried his team for the first three weeks but I just can't see his team surviving the bye weeks. This past week he only scored 53 points but still pulled out a victory.

For all the preparation I do, it just makes it frustrating to watch someone roll out of bed on draft day, use a fake cheat sheet (and never even make a comment about the contents of the cheat sheet when I gave it to him), and he is somehow 4-0. To make it worse, he talks the loudest smack in the league about how no one can beat him and he is going to win the championship.. Oh well, maybe I am just getting kharma for letting him use the cheat sheet and not saying anything to him about it.

This past week he only scored 53 points but still pulled out a victory.
That is the problem. You obviously have more than 1 team in your league that doesn't know what they are doing! A little sarcasm there. This happens in every league but sometimes I wish we had a minimum point threshold you have to cross before you are allowed to win. That sucks almost as bad as getting the 2nd highest points of the week only to lose to... the highest point total of the week. I'm really starting to lose interest in head-head leagues in case you couldn't tell.

The cheat sheet was posted on this site in late August. I don't know if it's still on here or not. I only had a hard copy that I printed out and gave to him.

I didn't keep a record of the draft. He had the 7th pick and went Barber in round one. After that I think he went with Calvin Johnson, Holt, Rudi Johnson, Chad Johnson, Fargas, Heap, and then Bulger and Cutler. Those are what I can remember.

I looked for the sheet in my email, can't find it. That team will never last without some serious trade/waiver wire work. Be interested to see if he's 4-4 by mid-season.

This is a kind of fun Monday topic I guess. So what does your team look like after all the preparation and the real cheat sheet? Chad seriously went in round 5? Was this after he was hurt?

Oh, and this is too small a sample size to attribute luck to being a major factor in fantasy football. It's only 4 weeks into the season. I have seen many bad teams go on a 4 week roll because a couple players have a hot streak.

OK. So now I don't get the point of this thread. The OP gave another a fake cheat sheet that he did not follow anyway (maybe just used it for crossing off players?). He said he took Barber in round 1 who was #32 on the cheat sheet. The cheat sheet has no relevance if it was not followed.

The team he beat 53-49 started the following players:

QB O'Sullivan

RB Turner

RB Jones Drew

WR Housh

WR Bruce

WR A. Johnson

TE Cooley

K Longwell

D Dallas

I don't know if he took the cheat sheet and made every pick verbatim from it. I gave it to him and that is all he had at the draft. As I said, he did make some weird picks with Rudi Johnson and Fargas early which I think were influenced by the cheat sheet. He grabbed Chad in round 5 after he was already hurt and dropping like a rock. The point of the OP was to just say that despite people like me and many others subscribing to this site and spending a lot of time analyzing who to draft and when, there is still occasion where a person who did no prep whatsoever before the draft ends up with a better record. So, luck has a lot to do with this hobby we play. That's all I was trying to say.

Yeah, I have the 3rd highest points scored in my keeper league but am 1-3. :bag: RNG is a #####.
Unpossible.
Not really. Last year our point leader through 4 (maybe it was 3) weeks was winless. He had second highest points each week but played against who ever put up the highest. It normalized as the season went on but it was funny (because it wasn't me) and tragic at the same time.

:shrug:This thread is pathetic. He obviously didn't follow your fake cheatsheet. His first 3 picks were excellent. After that what's the big deal? Hardly considered lucky. Holt has sucked, Fargas has been hurt, Rudi sucks, and Chad Johnson has been pretty bad. Not to mention giving a fellow owner in your league a dummy cheat sheet is pretty busch league... shouldn't need to stoop so low to beat someone in your league. I'm glad he's undefeated. Hope he beat your sorry ###Skillz, please in the future post your vents in the Week 4 Venting thread pinned at the top. No need to bring attention to yourself and your frustrations by starting you own thread

If I'm reading this correctly, Skillz is saying the idiot savant of the league has more FF skillz than Skillz has. It's not a rant, it's praise.

WRONG WRONG WRONGI'm gonna be 0-4 after tonight and I'm 4th in the power rankings, 1 WR rank and 1 RB rank. Each week so far i've lost to one of only two guys that could've beat me. I think it's a TON of luck and who you play. In the same league my buddy is gonna be 4-0 and his opponents have put up 49,75,68,78 against him. I've yet to score under 94 and i've lost to 122, 99, 110 and 104 (with steelers D left tonight). I'm on the verge or declaring this my final FF season. This is getting ridiculous.

Useing the fake cheat sheet might have been an advantage, not a disadvantage! haha

proves my lifetime theory. if u wanna beat me you better get your nose out of the experts ranks and come up with your own!

i know darn well most drafters use cheeatsheets around here. I use it to my advantage! And my 80%to 90% playoff qualification rate over the years proves it works.

I'll usually draft a bust or two a year but out of 20 drafts thats a pretty good % for not ever listening to any so called experts.

Yes I think I am the expert of all experts and beat them every year to prove it!

Interesting that these guys are actually justifying their high ranking......13. WR3 Brandon Marshall Den Working to appeal his unwarranted suspension 39. WR10 Laveranues Coles NYJ Favre always has a Top 10 WR45. QB9 Kurt Warner Ari Cardinals to promote Warner in mid-September 62. RB25 Julius Jones Sea Easily the best RB in Seattle and these guys are justifying their low ranking.....36. RB17 Joseph Addai Ind/4 Signing of Dominic Rhodes will eat into his touches65. QB12 Carson Palmer Cin Too many good backs to put him any higher 79. RB30 Ryan Grant GB Another holdout that will get hurt this season96. WR24 Chad Johnson Cin Could be out for two months with his injured shoulder 112. WR31 Braylon Edwards Cle Has a nasty foot injury that leaves us worried
In a way this cheatsheet was better than the real one :goodposting:

Yeah, I have the 3rd highest points scored in my keeper league but am 1-3. :ptts: RNG is a #####.
Unpossible.
0-4 and 4th in the power rankings???Say it ain't so. SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!
