Hermosa Beach California (1 Viewer)

Anybody have some suggestions on what to do here? I'll be in Hermosa for the 4th.

(also going to Vegas, but there is a wealth of info. on that already, although I would still accept suggestions)

If you are in Hermosa for the 4th....you dont have to worry about anything. The party will be everywhere....and I do mean everywhere. Scope out a bar near where you are staying...get there fairly early...and enjoy the scenery!

Not at all. A bar is not where you want to be in the South Bay on the 4th.All he has to do is walk the strand from Hermosa to Manhattan. Tons of parties he can join, and a million bikinis goin' by. Don't even get a bike, it will be useless.

:goodposting: This is true. This also applies to Huntington Beach and Newport Beach as well. Just sit back, watch the action, visit a few house parties and you'll be good to go. I've had a few buddies get tickets for riding their bikes while drunk during the 4th so the bike is not likely a good idea.

New bar called Blue 32 is very cool....Kind of a higher end club, but 5 flat screens great for watching games. Scenery is high end!

But on the 4th, anywhere down there you will have no problem finding stuff to do.

new bar in Redondo called On the Rocks - beach view, tons of TV's, and great food and drink specials. Fireworks will start from the pier after sundown. have fun

I gotta say no to that. All they did is slap lipstick on that pig. It's the same as it ever was, which is White T Central...just like Chiller's and Lattitudes before it. It also has nothing going nearby (save for Najia's if you're a beer freak).

and add 25 plasma screen TV's, 2 patios, and a previously gourmet chef

Sure, the screens look good, but for visitors there is much more to see and do along the beach/strand, or in the downtown areas of Hermosa and Manhattan. Different strokes, I guess.

I'm assuming that because these are beach bars I can get away w/ shorts and sneaks and not have to worry about dress code except for when I go to hollywood or something.
