1st thought I had when seeing the original post. Although I did appreciate knowing that as it confirms my watching a bad TV movie rather than ESPN coverage.

The first hour of Countdown is particularly bad. Probably 40 minutes of commercials, and 20 minutes of fluff. 5 minutes of commercials, then come back to have Mort & Adam give a 10 second teaser on what they'll be talking about later....then 5 more minutes of commercials.

Then right before the CBS & Fox pregame shows start, ESPN finally starts getting into their meaningful stories.
