High Ankle Sprain (1 Viewer)

From what I've seen, it can really vary. It may be as short as 3-4 weeks, seems like it took Todd Heap almost a year to get over his.

High ankle sprains can be pretty bad, and tend to be those nagging injuries that guys really aren't going to get over totally until next year. I had chronically bad ankles due to these in high school, you can sit out for 6-8 weeks on it but few do as it "feels" fine much earlier and most will come back and re-injure it. Even if you DO wait 6-8 weeks your likelihood of re-injuring it is going to be very high.
