This is a brand new league.
Entry Fee will be $800 and will increase 5% each year (cuz you know, inflation)
Transaction Fees of $10 each
You will be required to keep 6 players each year. Those 6 players will consume your first 6 picks of draft. Round 7 will have "first round" feel to it then.
You can keep a player for 5 years max.
In addition to normal draft there will be a college draft. You will be able to add 3 college players to your roster. If a college player gets drafted, you will then have to keep him as part of your 6 keepers or drop him. If he has not been drafted yet (e.g. goes from being a junior to senior for example), you can keep him on your college squad. The 5 year keeper clock does not start though until you keep that player on your NFL roster.
We will use CBS as our host site.
Roster: QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, FLEX, K, DST and 10 bench spots
This will be head to head scoring
PPR
1 division and play 14 games. Top 6 would make playoffs.
There will be several ways to win some money back.
You can win prizes for each regular season win and also prizes for high score(s) each week. So there is a chance to recoup some money if you don't make playoffs etc.
I'm also considering an insurance pool. I'd set aside a certain amount of dollars from entry fee. If you have a player that was drafted in first 6 rounds and misses 5 or more games due to injury, you get a piece of the insurance pool.
Free Agents will go through blind bid process with free for all to follow.
Draft is tentatively scheduled for 9/6 evening, but flexible with this.
More to sort through still, but those are some of the main points and some of what I described above is by no means final and could change and certainly welcome to other thoughts.
Reach out with any questions or if interested.
