Yeah, but what happens when Beanie gets a Boo Boo?Choke said:Mr Hightower has had the proverbial Fork jabbed right through him. Over.
there is every chance the Cardinals did that in the 7th round by picking up LaRod Stephens-HowlingThe end. I think his time as 3rd down back will be over as well when they find someone better catches passes & quicker. His run as a starter was awful. He displayed none of the power he showed in the PT role early on & isn't quick enough to get to the corner.
I think he's practice squad material that got thrust into the spotlight because everyone tried of Edge averaging sub-4 ypc.
I'd only offer used gum for Hightower at this point. You trade Hightower as fast as you can to the Beanie owner for something with a little bit of value.Yeah, but what happens when Beanie gets a Boo Boo?Choke said:Mr Hightower has had the proverbial Fork jabbed right through him. Over.
They'll bring back 46 year old Edge, just like they did in the postseason.Yeah, but what happens when Beanie gets a Boo Boo?Choke said:Mr Hightower has had the proverbial Fork jabbed right through him. Over.
Everyone makes fun of Edge, but he looked pretty damn good in the playoffs. He obviously has a lot of tread but he's only 30 right now (31 by the season) and having last year off most of the year probably helped give him a little juice.Since he's likely to be cut, I can see him actually having more value than Hightower. COuld he go within the division? Seattle, who EVERYONE thought needed a RB, didn't draft anyone to compete with JJ/Duckett. It would be a nice landing spot plus give him the chance to stick it to the Cards twice a year. They'll bring back 46 year old Edge, just like they did in the postseason.Yeah, but what happens when Beanie gets a Boo Boo?Choke said:Mr Hightower has had the proverbial Fork jabbed right through him. Edge is actually running(?) on racing slicks at this point.Still could be a contributor somewhere, but not the lead back.Everyone makes fun of Edge, but he looked pretty damn good in the playoffs. But seriously, I do think he can contribute... he looked very good in the playoffs, IMO.
