I've researched and started making plans to build a golf simulator in my heated shop at home.  I should be able to complete it for around $2000.  That number includes optishot 2, short throw projector, laptop, impact screen, enclosure screens , tarps, turf mats, etc.

That number does not include the 10 x 10 x 15 aluminum tube enclosure .  Labor and materials for the enclosure are "free".

Anyone ever do this? Any tips or advice I may not have thought of?

If there is interest I can photo document and show progress from start finish .  Mostly looking for any expertise available . 

I would like to have this project completed by mid December .

Are these things super accurate these days?  And what about putting?  It's drive for show and put for dough you know!

Optishot 2 is not super accurate. Decent. Measures club speed, open/closed club, etc.

There are very nice units that can record ball spin, etc. Start to get into major money.
