Hop Heads Unite - List your top five favorite hops (1 Viewer)

Don't know the names of hops but prefer the citrus over the ones that taste like a pine tree.
Stopped drinking IPAs about 5 years ago, gave me bad heartburn.

I have to admit, I have cut waaaay down on my consumption of IPAs and also prefer the more citrusy ones to the piney ones. They're just too filling to have more than one. If I am at a nice beer bar hanging out and sipping I'll still go to one, but rarely do I drink them during a "session."

Galaxy and Nelson probably my two favorites.

Mosaic would be near the top but below those two.

I've been enjoying New Zealand hops lately, I think. Rakau and Wakatu come to mind. Maybe I'd throw those in my current top 5.

I love Run the Jewels, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Slick Rick, and Run DMC. Gotta respect the classics.

Honorable mention to the Beastie Boys.

Does anyone remember the Sam Adams special release about 10 years ago called Latitude Deconstructed? SA had an IPA called "Latitude" that used 5 different hops. They did a special release 12 pack that had two bottles of the regular Latitude IPA, then two bottles each of the same base beer but each was a single-hop beer using one of the five hop varieties. I don't recall the hops but it was a good mix - one noble hop, a mild English hop and a couple big US hop varieties. Awesome idea and a great way to learn about different hop flavors.
