Taking a look at all of the week 1 rushers over the past 4 years (02 thru 05)
Data
Trying to find something that would look like there's hope for those RBs that really didn't play well at all in Week 1 but finished the season as good starting FF RBs.
A few do show up that may have been chosen around where Jordan was (eg top 2 rounds):
Tiki in 2002 (15/29/1) - finished #7
TJones in 2005 (15/31/1) - finished #9
Tomlinson in 2003 (15/34/0) - finished #2
Alexander in 2002 (15/37/0) - finished #5
Admittedly there are TDs scored there. There are also obviously some that are not good news for these RBs (example Hearst in 2002), and some other poor season opening games, but bottom line there is hope.
Hold on to Kevin Jones, Foster, Alexander obviously, Droughns.
As far as Jordan is concerned, though I do believe there is hope he's got Baltimore and a bye week coming up, so if you can get something decent for him now I don't think it's a bad idea. Starting off 0-3 sucks.
