Looked around. Saw a movie thread, didn't see anything specific for horror and figured what the heck 
Most of the things I try and watch (usually alone cause my wife doesnt like this stuff, and too old to sit around and watch movies with friends. Plus I work late, so I am always up late) would be stuff like zombie movies, slasher, revenge, and any and all things that seem like they might be enjoyable in those general areas.
I have seen a crap ton of movies, will eventually discuss some at some point, but will start with a couple recent views:
"No One Lives".................I liked it. A few good deaths, unique "plot", and always good when at some points a movie can make you root for a crazy serial killer.
"Oldboy".........this was the remake with Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen. I never saw the original because generally I am not a fan of subtitles, but I will eventually. This was ok. Entertaining. And of all the Olsen's, Elizabeth is hands down the best actress, and easily the hottest. The stupid Olsen twins should never even be mentioned in the same breath as her.
I have seen a lot more, but will start there. Always looking for ideas for stuff I haven't seen that might be good, and always looking for those diamons in the rough that people probably skip over but every once in a while someone watches it and then passes the word on to others.
