Hostage situation in Amarillo (1 Viewer)

There was an active shooter who held hostages at gunpoint at a Wal-Mart in Amarillo, Texas.  The Muslim man was a middle aged male, and had apparently had a prior problem with the manager.  Luckily, local law enforcement was able to take him down without any casualties.  I am from Amarillo and lived there my childhood life before leaving for Las Vegas and ultimately the military.  I've been into that same Wal-Mart many times, even my sister was there last week.  Crazy to think about.  I couldn't be more proud of my City and my State for acting swiftly and avoiding another mass shooting.  This might not get national attention since people weren't innocently slaughtered, but these heroes deserve it.  Today, they saved American lives.
