Curious what your total guest count is and what you’re serving?

10 adults/11 children

- Homemade guacamole

- Tostitos

- Salsa (Medium & Mango)

- Spinach artichoke dip

- Shrimp Cocktail

- Pigs in a blanket

- Hot wings / bbq wings

- 2 feet of sandwiches

- 1 Pizza (kids)

- Chicken taco bar

- Mexican street corn

- Macarons

- Cookies

I also have 2 cases of beer, bottle of vodka, and bottle of tequilla. Anyone who asked what to bring was told alcohol of their choosing.

Think I did good, but I’m sure others here did better, would like to see what’s on your menus and what you told guests.

Be sure you have the second tv on a 5 second delay.  Hilarity ensues when half the house cheers and the others are like wtf

We’ve quit going anywhere or having people over.  It’s great
We used to have a good size crowd but my wife would get annoyed that she couldn't watch the game since most of the women would just want to hang out somewhere else and talk.  We downsized to just my BiL and his kids but now that they're older it's been just the 2 of us for about 5 years now.  So much better now.

Be sure to turn to WWE Halftime Heat at the break. Ought to be a 10-15 minute barn burner.
Thanks...didnt know they were doing this. I remember years ago when they did this at halftime and it was really fun. Never forget someone puts a sock on his hand and the announcer yelled, " oh oh...here comes socko!" Nearly fell off my chair laughing.

My two sons, a few of their friends, a few of my friends and girlfriends and wives all coming over. About a dozen or so. We will be serving:

- scachatta (Sicilian type of pizza)

- wings,

- veggies and dips

- kolbasa, cheeses, pickles, olives

- box of assorted deep fried shrimp appetizers

- guacamole and nachos

- cookies and chocolates

- plenty of beer and Moscow Mules

Looking forward to it. My older son moved out last year and I really miss watching football with him and his buddies. Thes best thing about the friends bringing their girlfriends is I know they won't come empty handed and we should have a few more munchies added to the list. If it was just the guys, they would be done their six pack by half time and drinking my booze. The women keep them honest!

Not hosting not going anywhere and very happy about it! Got cold cuts, wings, chips and just gonna enjoy the game in peace and quiet.

Three other families. Grilled Cheese competition, plus tomato soup, chips/salsa/guac, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs.

Entrants:

- cheddar, gruyere, bacon, tomato

- French onion, swiss

- mozzarella, tomato, pesto

- Brie, apple, chutney

Just finished my last errand. Sons birthday in 2 weeks so the wife wanted to get him a cake to sing to him later while we have company. It’s a strawberry shortcake, but it looks like a cheeseburger, pretty cool.

Gonna lay in bed, watch an episode of sopranos, and then start prepping :kicksrock:

Jealous of those doing nothing.

Way too much food.

We used to have big SuperBowl parties every year at our home. With everybody talking and drinking it was hard to watch the game.  Last 3 years it has been just my wife and I...really enjoy everything about the game so much better and can actually remember plays.

Got a fire going. Full fridge of beer. Basic snacks and nothing special. No other people but my wife and kids.

Glorious. Might take a nap.

This happened with a Packer party I was at onc eby my wifes nephews house. The guys were downstairs and somehow that TV got behind by about 5-10 seconds. The women were upstairs and we didn't even realize they were watching. Packers driving to win the game, we're on pins and needles downstairs, all of a sudden upstairs erupts in wild cheering. We all look at each other like WTF

Haven’t hosted or attended a Super Bowl party since my son was born a couple years ago. I don’t really miss it. My wife and I will be having:

Ribs, taco dip, bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed peppers, stuffed mushrooms, apple cobbler, & misc chips/snacks.

One year way back when HD was just starting the tv in HD was probably 2 seconds behind the SD feed in the living room.  It was pretty funny

Pretty lame. Are there no real characters in wrestling nowadays?
