Housh Value (1 Viewer)

Right now Housh is my #2 WR but I likely will be drafting Dez Bryant in our rookie draft. What should I look to get in return?

I saw in the dynasty trades thread that someone got Sanchez in return. I'm open to looking at both players and picks. I guess it's easier to answer in terms of rookie picks, but I was thinking I'd take Sanchez for him right now. And if we're talking a draft pick or picks, what would you think was a fair asking price?

I am sure if you are willing to throw in your first or second round pick someone might take Housh off your hands.

 Unless the Seahawks let him out, you'd be better served using the roster spot on Aromashadu. (Seriously)

I think his value is low enough that you just hold him until the wheels fall off.

Also, replacing him with a rookie carries its own risk in short term production. Holdout/rookie learning curve - no cartainty Bryant contributes.

In your posiiton I would hold Housh until Bryant emerges finitely. You might even get more from an injury hit team mid season for him than right now

While he's a decent #3, I doubt anyone gives more than a 2nd or a QB2 type. IMO Sanchez is worth more. Maybe Jason Campbell or Mike Vick.

Housh is a 32 year old WR on a marginal offense with a new head coach, and a QB that looks like he's hit the wall. He's also a mediocre talent approaching the age where WRs hit the wall.

904/4 and 911/3 over the past two years don't exactly inspire confidence going forward either.

I can't think of a situation where I would like to add him to my team. Maybe a contending team short on WR depth would be interested in Housh as a 4th or 5th option. Even if I was in that situation I wouldn't give up more than a late 3rd rounder in a rookie draft.

I saw the Housh for Sanchez post as well and my first thought was could I possibly trade him for Sanchez myself? My second, more realistic thought was there must be a Felipe Sanchez in the league. I'd I agree with ScottHawk in that his value is near rock-bottom, so the only way is up - just not a big 'up'. If there isn't anyone on waivers that you'd rather have then wait to see what happens at QB or sit on him until mid-season.
